During the season you can use the outdoor swimming pool 1.5 km away free of charge. Callantsoog beach is only 8 km away and there are various attractions, such as Hoenderdaell Animal Park, the Navy Museum and the West Frisian Market in Schagen. You can be in Amsterdam or on Texel within an hour.
