Experience Bamberg’s Old Town up close: Stay like you’re at a hotel—only better. Enjoy our renovated and bright 2-room vacation apartment in a historic building on Jakobsberg, near the cathedral and Michelsberg Monastery. The house is set back from the street, making it very quiet. Discover the charming World Heritage Site of Bamberg and its beautiful Old Town in this area, much of which is designated as a historic preservation zone. You’ll find a spacious living room with a sleeper sofa for 2 people and a dining area, cable TV, and Wi-Fi. There’s also a cozy, quiet bedroom with a comfortable double bed (180 x 200 cm) and blackout curtains. The closets offer plenty of space to store your clothes. The modern kitchen, featuring a small seating area, kitchenette, microwave, and dryer, also has empty cabinets for storing groceries during longer stays. The well-maintained, new bathroom with natural light includes a bathtub/shower, toilet, and a washing machine. The bright and welcoming entryway greets you. Throughout the entire apartment (except for the bathroom), the original wooden floors have been preserved and refinished; combined with modern and cozy furniture, this creates a truly comfortable atmosphere. Your beds will be made upon arrival, towels will be provided, and you’re welcome to use the spices, vinegar, oil, and coffee. Toilet paper, shampoo, and soap are also provided. This is strictly a vacation rental; accordingly, there are no personal items of ours in the apartment, so you’re free to use the space as you wish. Just like a hotel—only better :-) The apartment is located on the 2nd floor—no elevator. A parking spot can be rented on a nearby property for 10€/day or 50€/week; please let us know in advance if you’d like to use it. Please leave the parking fee plus a cleaning fee of 40€ in the apartment upon checkout.
Access by train/bus: From the main train station, take a bus to the ZOB/city center; from there, take line 910 toward Wildensorg. Get off at Jakobsberg—the stop is 3 minutes from the house.
