About the accommodation
The house is located on the quiet outskirts of Cevio - about 5 minutes from the piazza of Cevio, the main town of the Maggia Valley - and offers a marvellous view over the valley. It is an ideal starting point for numerous activities - be it hiking, swimming in natural pools or cycling along the valley. Despite its recent renovation, the house has not lost its authentic character and combines traditional charm with modern comfort. The solid granite walls keep the summer heat outside and ensure a pleasant coolness inside. The well-equipped kitchen with direct access to the cosy pergola invites you to enjoy a coffee in the morning - or a well-earned aperitif in the evening with a view of the valley and surrounding mountains. Thanks to the proximity to bus connections to Locarno, Bosco Gurin or further into the valley, you can remain flexible even without a car.

Room layout
On the ground floor there is a fully equipped kitchen with direct access to the pergola, a cosy living and dining room, a shower room with WC (with granite floor and walls) and a bedroom with a double bed. On the upper floor there is another bright bedroom with a double bed and access to the balcony. There is also an open loft in this room - watch out for little climbing monkeys!

Location and connections
The accommodation is in a quiet location in the municipality of Cevio. The village centre with various restaurants, including a pizzeria, a kiosk, a pharmacy and the post office, is just a five-minute walk away. Culinary specialities from Vallemaggia are available directly in the Bottega ValMagia - fresh bread from the Panetteria Rovana on Sundays. The bakery is just 300 metres away and the Coop supermarket is 600 metres away.
The bus stop to Locarno and connections to Cavergno, Valle Bavona and Val Lavizzara are just 200 metres away. The PostBus stop for Bosco Gurin and Campo Vallemaggia is also just a few minutes' walk away. Locarno can be reached by car in about 30 minutes.
