Welcome to Neuried! Our house is situated on the outskirts of the village next to a riding arena in a very quiet location. The village of Altenheim is known for its beautiful old half-timbered houses and tobacco growing. Conveniently located for excursions to the nearby Black Forest and the Kinzig Valley, as well as the cities of Freiburg, Offenburg, Gengenbach, Kehl and Lahr. The Europa-Park can be reached in approx. 20 minutes, and Strasbourg and the charming Alsace are just as easy to reach. You can cycle along the Mühlenweg, Rheinauenweg or through the Rhine landscape on flat paths (rental available from the municipality). The nearby Rheinauenwildnispfad is also very interesting and there is a football pitch in the neighboring municipality. There are several lakes for swimming and diving nearby. Hot-air balloon rides and horseback riding in the immediate vicinity. There are good shopping facilities for daily needs and several good restaurants.
