Beautiful Mediterranean home. Top of the line kitchen: 48' Subzero refrigerator/freezer, Wolfe range, granite countertops. Cookware and utensils provided.
Large 2-story 'great room', perfect for relaxing with family and friends. Three bedrooms with queen beds. Two large bedrooms upstairs and one bedroom downstairs. All bedrooms have beautiful en-suite bathrooms, with marble and glass shower, heated marble floors. Bathroom #2 upstairs has clawfoot tub. Beautiful hardwood floors throughout (except bathrooms). Ocean views from most of the house. Kitchen nook provides extra seating / work space.
Two story great room with fireplace provides spacious area for relaxing, enjoying ocean view and sunsets.
High quality linens and mattresses (fully encased in zippered, quiet, breathable protective covers that protect from allergens, etc.) .
Beautiful stained glass pieces are displayed. Most are from early 1920s.
Conveniently located. Quiet neighborhood minutes from downtown San Diego, beaches, shopping, entertainment.
There is a studio/workshop in the back of the property; the owners occasionally stay there.
Our home sleeps 6 comfortably (3 bedrooms with queen beds); additional person(s) can sleep on queen inflatable mattress or single mattress in larger bedroom.
If there are young children, please state ages in your request so we can prepare accordingly (eg, put away breakable objects). Thanks.
This is a quiet neighborhood. We respect our neighbors. No excessive noise will be tolerated, and will result in dismissal.
NO SMOKING! One of our daughters is allergic to smoke residue.

Why they chose this property
We love the unique character of the house, which is located in an upscale quiet residential neighborhood. We lived one block away for many years and admired it. We were excited when a For Sale sign went up, and bought the house as our own! We've lovingly renovated it, with particular attention to period-correct details. It has been officially designated as a CA historic property.
