Fishing for salmon at the lake Unden between Vänern and Vättern
This beautiful holiday home with a large wooden terrace is located approximately 175 metres from the large Undensee, near Tiveden National Park.
It consists of a living room with a seating area, fireplace, dining area and modern kitchen corner, two bedrooms, a shower and WC.
Here you spend the most beautiful time of the year in an area rich in lakes and on the edge of the national park "Tiveden". The national park offers you a rich number of diverse hiking trails through the "primeval forest", while territories of native wolves are skirted.
Lake Unden basically offers the same fish diversity as its "big brother", Lake Vänern, with noble fish such as char, salmon, pike, perch or sik, also a noble fish. Anglers among you will be really put to the test here. The source lake is considered particularly challenging terrain with depths of up to 100 metres to land large catches, but as they say, you grow with your tasks, and in case of crisis, the fish counter of the next ICA supermarket is still waiting.
There are canoes and rowing boats for rent at Tivedens camping, about 2 km from the cottage.
Not far from here are the towns of Laxå and Askersund. Askersund is known for its typical red Swedish houses, cosy cafés and lively hustle and bustle of tourists and sailing boats in the summer.
Not far from here is also the island "Borgmästareholmen", where children can climb and romp in the great outdoors.
