The Knotty Lodge is absolutely gorgeous and idyllic! Csaba and Rosemary were lovely hosts and the house had everything we needed. The kitchen was very well outfitted, the beds were all very comfortable, and the house was so cozy. My family had a delightful long weekend!

We had a beautiful stay at the knotty lodge! It was perfectly located near the Mt. Baker wilderness area. It's also just 45 mins outside of Bellingham. The lodge is in a lovely quiet neighborhood. The beds were super comfortable and the hot tub was delightful and very clean. The hosts were wonderful - stayed in communication and swiftly addressed any questions or minor issues. The house was just beautiful inside and out. We had an incredible stay and wished we didn't to leave. If we ever have the privilege of returning to this area, we would love to stay again!

Beautiful cabin in the woods, equipped with everything you’ll need to relax or explore the area. Hiking trails nearby, short walk to the creek for a refreshing plunge on hot summer days

We really enjoyed our stay. Clean . Beautiful landscape for what we were looking for. Super quiet area. Had everything we needed for our stay. Jacuzzi was clean and fits six people which was nice. The wood inside cabin was beautiful. If you like a firm mattress than this is the place to be. (Mattresses weren't our favorite but its a place to sleep) overall was an amazing experience 9/10 would recommend.

We’ve rented this property on three different occasions, and it keeps diving us back. The structure itself has the all the character of rustic modern charm, with a little of that Alpine cabin feeling. There is plenty to keep everybody happy and engaged. There were eight of us ranging from 75 to 2 and all of us were laughing and having a great time.

This was our second stay here, and somehow we loved it even more this time. We first stayed four years ago for our anniversary, so coming back for my birthday weekend and our fourth anniversary—this time with our little girl and our dogs—felt incredibly special.This place is truly perfect. Every detail feels so thoughtfully designed, and the hosts have thought of absolutely everything. It’s beautiful and cozy, but also genuinely family-friendly and dog-friendly, which makes it so easy to settle in and actually relax.Everything is exactly as described (and honestly, even better in person). The amenities, the layout, the little thoughtful touches—it all makes the house feel incredibly welcoming and special.It also means so much to us because it’s so close to Artist Point, where my husband and I eloped. This whole area holds such a special place in our hearts, and staying here feels like coming back to a little piece of our story.We love it so much that we’ve officially made it a personal goal to come back at least once a year—or every other year at the absolute minimum. There’s just something about this place that makes me so happy. It already held such sweet memories for us, and now we have a whole new set of family memories here. We absolutely love it and can’t wait to come back.

Perfect Ski House

My husband, friends and I had the best time skiing at Mt. Baker and staying at the Knotty Lodge this past weekend! Complete with a fireplace, hot tub, comfortable beds and a stocked kitchen, totally perfect.

Amazing Retreat!

Our family has been visiting Mount Baker and Glacier area for the last two decades and the Knotty lodge is the best VRBO out there. The owners go out of their way to make our stay enjoyable year after year. We really appreciate them and all their hard work on maintaining their beautiful home.

Another amazing stay!

We have now stayed at the Knotty Lodge several times and can’t imagine a better place to stay in the area. The location is perfect for exploring and the house is beautiful! It has everything you need to enjoy your stay including a well stocked kitchen, fireplace, hot tub, and fire pit. We will definitely be back again next year!!!

Our 5th trip to The Knotty Lodge

We have been coming up to the lodge every year around Thanksgiving and can’t say enough about how amazing it is! We have everything we need there for a relaxing getaway including a hot tub, fire pit, and close proximity to Mt. Baker. Casaba is an excellent host! We’ll definitely stay again!
