Welcome to Hus Solgården, a charming holiday home near Lake Vänern, lovingly restored and peacefully located near Mariestad. Situated at the edge of open fields and only around 2 kilometres from Lake Vänern, the house offers lovely conditions for couples and small families who want to combine nature, tranquillity and an authentic Swedish holiday experience.

The holiday home offers approximately 40 m² of living space and accommodates up to 3 guests. A fourth guest may be accommodated upon prior request.

The bedroom has a bunk bed with sleeping space for up to 3 people. The cosy living and dining area features a sofa and dining table and is a pleasant place to relax after an excursion or a day at Lake Vänern.

The compact kitchen is well equipped for self-catering. Facilities include an induction hob, refrigerator with freezer compartment, small oven, coffee machine and Nespresso machine.

The bathroom has a toilet as well as a simple shower option using the washbasin tap.

Wi-Fi is also available, and a parking space is located directly at the house.

A particular highlight of Hus Solgården is the large and lovingly landscaped garden. Various seating areas allow you to enjoy breakfast outside in the morning, relax in the sun or end the evening with views across the surrounding fields.

There is also a small playhouse in the garden for children.

Guests who want to explore the surrounding area actively can use the bicycles belonging to the house free of charge. A canoe is also included during your stay.

Nearby Lake Vänern, Sweden’s largest lake, is only around 2 kilometres away and offers numerous opportunities for swimming, paddling and relaxing hours by the water.

Another special extra is the separate work cabin in the garden. With views across meadows and nature, it offers a peaceful place for working or creative breaks. This also makes Hus Solgården a good choice for guests who want to combine a holiday with a workation.

The location near Mariestad is also interesting for day trips. The historic old town of Mariestad, with its wooden houses, small cafés and restaurants, is ideal for a relaxed stroll.

Another well-known destination in the region is the Göta Canal with its locks, cycling routes and small villages along the water.

Läckö Castle on Lake Vänern is also suitable for a day trip. Nature lovers can explore Kinnekulle with its hiking trails, viewpoints and varied landscapes.

Hus Solgården is a non-smoking holiday home. Pets are not permitted.

No security deposit is required.

During the summer months, electricity is already included. From October to March, an additional flat fee is charged for electricity and firewood.

Bed linen and towel packages can be booked as an optional extra.
