Family get away

We are from Alabama, visiting our adult daughter here in South Carolina. This was close enough to go to the beach as we wanted and visit with her as well. The property ks well maintained and clean. Property owner is responsive when you call. This was a nice experience and will rent here again when we come back to this area. We are a family of 5, 2, 5 ,7 and 2 adults and there was plenty of room for all of us.

North Charleston Vacation Rental

The house is very nice. Plenty of space. All ammenities that were listed. Easy access from I 26. Nice neighborhood. We enjoyed the porch and the back yard. We would definitely recommend this vacation property.

Comfortable nice neighborhood

The owner was very gracious to let us check in earlier as we had traveled a long ways. The set up of the house was great and even though it wasn't downtown it was right by the highway and easily accessible to downtown Charleston.

North Charleston VAcation

Property was in a quiet older subdivison about 20 minutes from downtown Charleston. Unit was clean and comfortable and we enjoyed our stay. Host was very responsive to anything we needed. He made several suggestion concerning dining and things to do. We particularly liked Nigel's Good Food resaurant.

Nice getaway

The property was as advertised. The inside was clean and appealing. The property manager was immediately responsive when the garage door wasnt functioning well.The blinds on the windows looked flimsy and we were afraid to adjust them, and the yard could better care. Otherwise the home fit our needs well. Would stay again if in the area .

Comfortable home in a quite neighborhood in North Charleston

The home was clean and comfortable. When we initially arrived there was a problem with the thermostat and the furnace was blowing out heat instead of cool air and the caretaker of the property responded right away and called someone to fix it timely. The property was nicely furnished and kept and was in a quiet neighbor hood that was about a half hour from Charleston. There were restaurants, stores and gas stations close.......

Tranquility at its best!

From the moment we arrived, there was a welcoming feel to the property. Everything that's needed for an enjoyable stay was right at our fingertips. Everything was clean and well maintained and easily accessible. Although not having small children accompanying us, we were able to see that Ray paid more than the usual attention to details in providing child proof locks on the cabinets for the safety of any children who may stay at the property. The property was located in close proximity to any dining or recreational activity you desired. Should we visit the area in the future, we will certainly contact Ray with the hopes that this property will be available to us.

Nice place to stay. Very safe.

The house was very nice, clean and had everything we needed. We had absolutely no problems with anything in the house. In fact, one of my kids accidentally left one of the side doors to our van open overnight. The next morning when we realized it everything was as we left it! We had all kinds of snacks and toys and such and no one messed with our stuff. It is such a busy populated area I was surprised. It is really close to plantations like Magnolia and Middleton and Drayton. I would highly recommend it as a comfortable, nice place to get away with your family. Charleston's historic District was like a 25 minute drive, but it is not a bad drive.

Just a little getaway

House was cute and spacious for what we needed. Could use a little updating. Small bedroom beds were not the most comfortable, however the queen beds slept nice. Kitchen could use a few more kitchen items such as a mixing bowl. The yard wasn't mowed, and the neighbors parked in the road(even though it is posted not to do so) so it made it hard to access drive with our large truck.(which isn't host fault). I wish it were closer to the beach but that is my fault for not researching more. However our overall stay was nice. We can mark the east coast off our travel list of places we've been.

Nice Stay in North Charleston

This is a great property for the price point and was just what we were looking for. Quiet residential neighborhood with very easy and quick access to the Interstate 26 and Hwy 78 for going into Charleston (20 minute drive). Ray was an awesome host and very reachable and response by phone and text. About the wheelchair accessible listing for this property, the house is a single level with plenty of space for wheelchair maneuverability (we have a family member in a power wheelchair), but the exterior doors all have a lip 3 to 4 inches high that are not traversable by a power wheelchair. We brought a couple of 2" high rubber threshhold ramps with us and were able to make it work. I did alert host Ray to this issue and sent him a few links to inexpensive threshhold ramps that can be placed at the porch, front door, and door from the garage into the house. Ray was apologetic and very receptive to getting the information, so he may very well have these ramps installed by now, but you should probably check. The master bed is compatible with a Hoyer lift and the master bathroom has plenty of room for wheelchair maneuverability for toilet transfers. Note that there are no grab bars and the sink is not wheelchair accessible if this matters to you. For us though, this was the perfect place for what we needed and were looking for and Ray is a great host.

Therefore, we wanted to make you aware of our vacation home as an alternative, to your hotel accommodations. The house has three bedrooms (Queen, Queen, Two Twins), Two (2) Full Bathrooms , dinning and family room, fully accessorized kitchen and a private car garage. Wi-Fi is available for Free. near Charleston Southern University. Largest Shopping District in the Charleston Area is only 2 minutes away. Many, Many and I mean Many Restaurants and several grocery stores only a few minutes away. Goose Creek is only minutes away. Naval Weapon Station is only minutes away.
