Summary:
Welcome to our house by the lake. Here you will find a perfect blend of nature and modern comfort. The Lübbesse is right on the doorstep.
The Space:
The accommodation Elf am See - Haus 10 has a garden with lake view and is
located directly on the crystal-clear
Lübbesee in Templin in the lake-rich Uckermark near Berlin.
This quiet vacation home offers a garden, lake views, a gas barbecue, free WiFi and
free private parking. The house has three terraces, 2 bedrooms, a
living room with flat-screen TV, a well-equipped kitchen with fridge, dishwasher
and washing machine. It has two bathrooms, each with a shower or bath. For
added convenience, the accommodation can provide towels and bed linen for an extra charge. The
nearest major city in Berlin. Templin is easily accessible from there by train.
Look out of the bedroom window into the forest or onto the lake. Into a real forest.
With huge trees and undergrowth and everything. Just walk over and
say goodnight to thefoxes
and rabbits, or you can just jump 50 meters further - to the lake, into the wonderfully
clean water.
ELF AM SEE - 11 houses to come down, feel good and
come back again and again. Friendly houses with lots of charm, great views and lots of nature all around. The houses are as different as the people who built them. And so similar
that you can have a good time in each one. House 10 is in the first row, very close to
the lake: the glistening water is right at its feet. Two large bedrooms have
direct access to the roof terrace, which overlooks the lake. You can look out over the
treetops from your bed. The cozy living room with sofa, armchairs and cast-iron fireplace
has large, floor-to-ceiling windows and a sliding door to the terrace.
If your departure is on a Sunday in the period from December to March 15, we would like to offer you a late check-out. Please note that this is only possible if new guests arrive on the same Sunday.
The kitchen leaves nothing to be desired and you can eat at the large wooden table. Or on one of the two terraces - close to nature towards the lake or sociable on the communal lawn. The large Templin bathing beach is a five-minute
walk away. There is a shallow
entrance to the lake, sun loungers for hire and plenty of fine sand for building sandcastles. In winter, the thermal baths in Templin are not far away. The vacation homes on Lake Lübbesee were completely renovated in 2023 and extended using sustainable timber construction methods. As ELF AM SEE, they offer a retreat for families and friends. Due to the direct proximity to other vacation homes and a housing estate, the house is not suitable for lavish parties. Photographers of the pictures:

The Neighborhood:
The Lübbesee lake with its crystal-clear water has a real tradition of relaxation. From 1909, overworked Prussian postal workers were sent here to take a deep breath (which is why the district is still called Postheim today). The best thing about this place is its location in the middle of it all: Where Templin (“Pearl of the Uckermark”!) ends and the Schorfheide (Germany's largest biosphere reserve!)
begins, lies the Lübbesee. If you are a good walker, you can walk to the supermarket in 20 minutes - or into the wilderness. There is mini golf and a tree nature trail, gold panning in the Eldorado and if the weather is not so good, you can swim in the thermal baths instead of the lake. The mixture of unspoiled nature and good infrastructure is a blessing, especially for family vacations. There is simply too much to experience for cabin fever.
In the early 1990s, the architect had a really clever idea for the lakeside property: he placed the 11 vacation homes with their hexagonal floor plans next to each other so that you
can see as much of the lake and forest as possible from every
living room. Our team of architects retained the basic idea and the exciting floor plan - and added a metal-clad upper floor in timber construction to 10 of the houses. This created space for spacious eat-in kitchens, another bathroom and an additional bedroom. A further terrace now opens out from the kitchen onto the communal lawn. The wood was left visible in all the houses and now ensures pleasant acoustics and a great indoor climate. The overall impression, the shape, the color and landscape design pursue the goal of harmonizing the houses with their surroundingsdespite their size and creating a harmonious, lively ensemble in which new perspectives on architecture and landscape open up with every step. Where possible, natural materials were used and processed by local craftsmen.
