The Schatzkiste offers you about 32 m² of lovingly designed space for a relaxing holiday on the water. Your dog is also welcome in this accommodation. The terraces on two levels—totaling 53 m²—are the perfect place to relax, sunbathe, and spend time together.
The living area offers plenty of space to lounge, eat together, unwind, and, of course, let your gaze wander across the water.
In the open galley—fully equipped with “pots and pans”—cooking together is a blast. And when everyone pitches in, the dishes are done in no time.
For meals in the fresh air, the covered terrace on the lower deck is at your disposal. On the upper deck, a beach chair or the cosy sofa invites you to enjoy the sun, wind, and weather to the fullest.
So you can start or end your day in a relaxed manner, both bedrooms open directly off the hallway—one with a double bed and one with a bunk bed for three people. The shower and toilet are separate—for added comfort and privacy.
When it comes to technology, we also strive for a good balance between comfort and sustainability: a modern biological wastewater treatment system treats all wastewater right on board. An eco-friendly starter kit with soap, toilet paper, and dish soap is provided for you.
Take your time, enjoy the rhythm of the water—and let yourself drift.
Of course, you don’t have to lose touch with the world: Wi-Fi, a smart TV, and an internet radio with Bluetooth are available for your favourite music or TV shows.
The Schatzkiste is the ideal starting point for exploring Fehmarn. There’s plenty to experience around the island for young and old alike. Just a few steps from the houseboat is a small beach—always with a view of the “Kleiderbügel” (coat hanger), as we affectionately call our impressive bridge that connects Fehmarn to the mainland.
Attachment:
The houseboats are idyllically moored in the harbour of the Schaich Shipyard, a small, charming sailing harbour right on the Fehmarnsund. The famous Fehmarn Sound Bridge is just a few steps away—a true postcard view right outside your door.
The nearest supermarket (Miramar Campground) is just a few minutes away by bike, ideal for fresh rolls in the morning and everything you need for daily life.
Bike trips:
You can cycle to the cosy Lemkenhafen in about 30 minutes
It takes about 45 minutes to get to Orth —a completely relaxed ride along the dike, with no car traffic
The route to Burg, the island’s capital, starts on small roads; from Wulfen, you’ll ride on a beautiful bike trail (about 35 minutes)
Tip: On board, you’ll find cycling maps with more ideas for day trips.
