Sit back and relax, listen to an interesting podcast or the latest chart hits. On cooler days, you can light the wood-burning stove for even more cosy warmth. The modern kitchen invites you to prepare tasty meals together.
Step outside in the morning with a cup of coffee and enjoy the atmosphere of nature that surrounds you. Have a hearty breakfast before setting off on your activities. Or find a nice spot and immerse yourself in a good book.
In summer, you can explore the beautiful nature by hiking, swimming in the fjord, cycling or trying your luck at fishing in one of the 50 or so lakes in the region. You can also visit the Ål Feriepark with its climbing park and other activities for the whole family. In winter, Ål turns into a ski resort and it's only a short drive to Geilo, Gol and Hemsedal. If you feel like tobogganing, take a trip to Skarslia, where Norway's largest tobogganing centre is located.
