About this property

Lovely home in Klokkarstua

Spend a wonderful break in this cosy holiday home by the Drammensfjord.

This cosy holiday home welcomes you with an inviting atmosphere of comfort and cosiness. Large windows let in plenty of natural light, while warm wood and stylish furnishings create a relaxing atmosphere in which you can quickly recharge your batteries. On cooler days, light the wood-burning stove and cosy up on the sofa with a good book.

Start the day with a cup of coffee on the terrace and let your gaze wander over the fjord and the rolling hills. The fresh air and the silence of nature create a special feeling of space and tranquillity in the morning. Later, hop into a canoe or SUP and discover the fjord from the water, up close and quiet. Beautiful beaches are just a short walk away and invite you to linger at any time.

On Verket, where the hut is located, you will find ideal conditions for kitesurfing. Or you can take the ferry to Svelvik, one of the shortest ferry routes in Norway at 148 metres. Disliked: Cleanliness, communication, listing accuracy
The listing did not state that only urine was allowed in the indoor lavatory. No toilet paper or excrement. We arrived to find a completely rotted “bouquet “ of tulips on the dining table. The privy, which turns out to be the most usable bathroom, was also used for storage and was full of bugs and cobwebs. We found it necessary to book a hotel instead and did not spend a single night at the property. We are still working to get a refund. The house was decent, and had beautiful views, but was not clean and not having a completely functional indoor bathroom was an issue for our 82 year old mother and would have been nice to know for the younger renters.
