Cozy 3-storey apartment in a rural idyll

The holiday rental is located on a historic estate that once belonged to the Princes of Zerbst. The estate and a large park-like garden featuring a large natural pond, a fountain, and numerous places to sit offer peace and relaxation. The former steward’s residence has been renovated in accordance with historic preservation guidelines and is lovingly furnished. The small village of Kermen is situated right next to the biosphere reserve, just 4 km from the Elbe Cycle Route. The former royal seat of Zerbst is about 5 km away and offers shopping, an indoor pool, an outdoor pool, and historic sights. Trains depart hourly from the Zerbst train station for the state capital, Magdeburg, or for Leipzig. The Bauhaus city of Dessau is only 20 km away.

We really enjoyed our stay here. It is out in the countryside and mornings were so delightful— quiet, peaceful and beautiful. We enjoyed relaxing here. The home was comfortable and spacious. We had everything we needed to be able to make our meals (though we did have to prepare to come as it is a distance to shops). Familie Lippold were responsive and helpful. The bathroom is on the bottom floor with beds on the top floor. This was not a problem for us, just something to note. We would love to stay here again.

Einfach nur eine tolle Wohnung mit Charakter. Wände und Gebälk lassen erahnen, dass es sich hier einmal um ein Stallgebäude handelte. Die Möbel passen zum Stil, die Ausstattung ist hochwertig und modern. Ich wurde von der sympathischen Gastgeberin direkt am Auto begrüßt. Ich danke für alles.
