With a spacious 78 m², the house accommodates up to five people and is ideal for families with children as well as couples and small groups who appreciate upscale amenities and a relaxing atmosphere.

The accommodation captivates with its harmonious blend of modern interiors and authentic elements. The living areas feature elegant hardwood floors and benefit from underfloor heating, which provides pleasant, cosy warmth—especially on cooler days. In the spacious living room, a cosy sofa area invites you to linger. Thanks to the open-concept design, the kitchen is directly connected to the living area, making it perfect for social cooking and dining gatherings. The modern, open kitchen features an induction stove, oven, microwave, refrigerator with freezer compartment, dishwasher, Nespresso espresso machine, blender, electric kettle, toaster, and a full set of cookware and tableware. A stylish dining area and a dining table round out the culinary experience.

For restful nights, there are two comfortable bedrooms with hardwood floors, privacy screens on the windows, and high-quality bedding. With five sleeping accommodation, there is plenty of space even for families. The child-friendly amenities are particularly noteworthy for families: a cot, high chair, children’s toys, stair gate, outlet covers, a colouring book with crayons, and a children’s toilet seat are provided. A separate playroom offers entertainment options for younger guests.

A full-length mirror, a makeup mirror, a hair dryer, as well as hand towels, bath towels, and a starter kit of toiletries are provided. The Gulfhof am Wangermeer looks back on a history spanning over 200 years: It was built in 1819 by a wealthy farming family and served as a stately residence and working farm for generations. After standing vacant for several decades, the historic, protected farmstead was extensively renovated and brought back to life with great attention to detail. The old brickwork, the original wooden framework, and the massive beams were preserved—they continue to define the special atmosphere of the farmstead and each apartment to this day.
Behind the historic walls, eight unique holiday apartments have been created, combining modern comfort with timeless design. Warm oak floors, high-quality furnishings, thoughtful details, private saunas in some units, and a spacious garden with mature trees and an unobstructed southern view create an environment perfect for relaxation and rejuvenation.
The farmstead is idyllically situated and completely secluded on the outskirts of Hohenkirchen—accessible via a small access road and an impressive sight even from a distance.
Just a short walk away lies the Wangermeer, a hidden gem of the region offering a wide range of recreational activities: walking trails, a swimming beach, stand-up paddleboarding, kayaking, and quiet spots to watch the sunset—just like on a North Sea island!
