The lovingly restored Böhmenhaus welcomes you on the quiet outskirts of Bad Langensalza. This historic, protected property, with its eventful history, shines in new splendour following extensive restoration.

The Zum Böhmen estate once belonged to Homburg Abbey, which was consecrated by Charlemagne in the year 800. The Zum Böhmen estate was used by the monks as a farmstead.

Later, beginning in 1829, the historic estate was operated as a tourist destination with a restaurant. Following the expansion and renovations carried out between 1890 and 1895, the affectionately named “Böhmenhaus” took on its current form.

In 1906, further renovations were carried out, and the house was once again operated as a restaurant. Unfortunately, it fell into disrepair starting in 1985.

With great dedication and care, the Böhmenhaus was completely renovated between 2018 and 2024 and now shines in all its glory.

This peaceful property, surrounded by ponds and mature trees, is located just about a 5-minute drive from the city centre of Bad Langensalza, where you’ll find various cafés, restaurants, and small shops.
