Welcome to the Bigger Schlossmühle in Olsberg! My cozy apartment is set in the historic grounds of Schloss Schellenstein, built in 1717. With 27 m², it offers everything you need for an unforgettable stay for 2 to 3 guests.



The apartment features a living-bedroom with a large box-spring bed and a sofa bed, a bathroom, and a well-equipped kitchen with coffee pod machine, microwave, kettle, and air fryer. Air conditioning, TV, and Wi-Fi provide extra comfort. Enjoy beautiful views of the mountains and Schloss Schellenstein. A shared garden and a nearby playground offer pleasant outdoor spaces to relax.



As your host and a hiking guide, I am happy to assist you. Right outside, you can go jogging or Nordic walking on flat terrain. Explore the picturesque surroundings by hiking, Kneipp walking, mountain biking, or road cycling—the famous Rothaarsteig trail is nearby for memorable hikes. In winter, enjoy cross-country skiing, downhill skiing, snowshoeing, and sledding. Adventurers will find a climbing forest and rope bridges close by. The popular destinations Willingen and Winterberg are about 20 km away. A secure bike cellar is available for bikes and skis.



Olsberg-Bigge is an official stop on the Ruhr Valley Cycle Route! Apartment Schlossmühle is the ideal place to stay for cyclists exploring the scenic Ruhr Valley. After an active day, relax here—perfect for recharging before your next stage.



Culture lovers can visit concerts at the Olsberg concert hall, just 1.5 km away—a highlight not to miss!



On request, we are happy to check if you may bring your dog (up to 40 cm shoulder height). Motorcyclists are welcome! Your motorcycle can be parked safely under the carport. Free parking is available right in front of the apartment, the nearest bus stop is 200 m away, and the train station is 1 km away.
