Located just 20 km from Montségur Castle, 31 km from the Monts d’Olmes, and close to Foix (18 km) and the medieval town of Mirepoix (23 km), The Song of the River is an authentic holiday home set in a former horn comb factory, a place full of history.



This warm and comfortable accommodation, designed for 2 people, offers the friendly atmosphere of a family home. Inside, you will find a fully equipped kitchen, a living room with a fireplace, and a bright veranda. Bed linen is provided and wood is available in winter. There are no cleaning fees, but you are asked to leave the place clean and tidy.



You will enjoy a unique stay by the Douctouyre river, lulled by the sound of the water and surrounded by hiking trails accessible right from the door.



Experiences to enjoy on site: canoe available to explore the river, evenings by the fire or in the veranda, and guided tours in a vintage car to discover secret and little-known sites of Ariège, accompanied by local anecdotes (available for a supplement).



Pets are welcome: one well-behaved dog is allowed under certain conditions (no staying alone in the house, cleanliness respected, damages covered).
