Our newly renovated luxury apartment in a traditional Swiss chalet in Wengen offers 45 square metres of space for four people. The chalet is located in a quiet spot, just outside the village centre, with stunning views of the mountains and the Lauterbrunnen Valley. Perfect for your winter sports, hiking, or relaxation holiday. A great place for family time, a romantic getaway for couples, or working from home.

The Accommodation:
Redesigned in the fall of 2022, the accommodation features a bedroom with a king-size bed (180x200), a bedroom with two 90x200 beds arranged as a bunk bed, a cosy living room with a dining area, a fully equipped kitchen, and a bathroom with a rainforest shower.

The bedroom with the king-size bed not only offers plenty of storage space for clothes but also a perfect view of the mountains, right from the bed. The room has a welcoming and bright atmosphere, making it perfect for relaxation.

The second bedroom is very cosy, also sleeps two people, and has plenty of storage space in a closet. You’re guaranteed to feel right at home here.

The exceptionally well-equipped kitchen has everything a cook’s heart desires. There’s a four-burner induction stove, an oven, a French press coffee maker, a blender, a toaster, a tea kettle, cooking utensils, and dishes. Of course, sugar, salt, pepper, oil, vinegar, coffee, and tea are provided. There’s also a complete fondue set for the perfect fondue evening in a Swiss chalet.

The spacious living room features a large sofa and a cosy armchair from which you can fully enjoy the view of the Swiss Alps. Take a moment here to soak in the famous view of the Staubbach Falls down in the valley. There are books to browse through as well as board games. You’re also welcome to use the piano.

The cosy dining area invites you to enjoy long conversations and social evenings. Here, you can also set up your laptop or writing materials and focus on your work.

In the small but uniquely designed bathroom, you’ll find a rainforest shower with shower gel, shampoo, and conditioner. You’ll also find hand lotion and soap, as well as a hair dryer.

The terrace invites you to relax in the fresh mountain air and take in the breathtaking panoramic views. Feel free to light a fire in the fire pit here.

For your winter holiday, we provide four sleighs free of charge.

Please note that this is a non-smoking apartment.

Important information:
The accommodation is a 20-minute walk from the Wengen train station. Please note that the final section of the route follows a narrow, 50-meter-long path and therefore requires sturdy footwear. The path runs across a hillside meadow and may be overgrown with grass in the summer or covered with snow in the winter. There is no public transport in Wengen; only a taxi service is available.
Wengen is a car-free resort town and is accessible only by train. You can therefore travel directly by public transport or park your vehicle in the public car park in Lauterbrunnen.
