Paved roads and gravel paths make it possible to take bike trips all the way to the Netherlands and are suitable for road bikes, e-bikes, and gravel bikes alike. The region is characterised by farms with sheep, goats, peacocks, and alpacas. A large municipal playground is a five-minute walk from the apartment. The famous Roman town of Xanten is a 15- to 25-minute bike ride away, and the pilgrimage site of Kevelaer is 11 km away. Shopping options are within walking distance.
