Our farm Fendrig is situated on the Leimensteig hill north of Appenzell and offers a panoramic view over the Alpstein, the Vorarlberg and far into the valley. The many animals, the playground, the hiking and biking trails make your stay an experience for everyone. Quietly situated, the cosy restaurant 80m in the Nähn, 10 km from St. Gallen, 6 km from Appenzell, 3 km from Haslen. The 3 1/2 room holiday flat, with separate entrance, was newly built in 2014 and very tastefully furnished. It has a pleasant bathroom, a well-equipped kitchen-living room and two bedrooms on the upper floor.

Absolutely the most wonderful vacation home- a beautiful setting high above the valley. We had everything we needed in this beautiful Appenzeller farmhouse- even kittens!
I stayed with my adult son in this terrific farmhouse in Appenzell. The place was spacious, comfortable and immaculate. The view from the house is postcard Switzerland. The house is well-located for hiking as well as for heading into town for dinner. The hosts were friendly and extremely helpful with a few special requests. They do not speak, English, however, so we communicated by email via Google Translate (which really was not a problem). The wifi was a little spotty at times but otherwise the place was perfect. Highly recommended.
