Leonidionhouses* offers various architect-designed or renovated houses as holiday homes on the east coast of the Peloponnese. Traditional or modern, simple or luxurious, the houses are all in excellent locations, perfectly equipped and guarantee a very comfortable stay in the Leonidion area. The houses are about 150 km from Kalamata airport, 225 km from Athens airport and 240 km from the harbour of Patras. They are ideally located to visit the famous cultural sights of the region, such as Mycenae, Epidaurus, Nemea, Mystra, Monemvasia and several others. In summer there are several pebble beaches with crystal clear water and in the other seasons the mountains of the hinterland (Mount Parnon) offer the possibility of hiking or climbing in Leonidion.
The "little" Bungalo
The bungalows built in 2014 are a speciality. The "Big" and "Small" bungalows are located about 40 metres apart in an olive grove, 4 km from the picturesque fishing port of Tyros. Built at a height of 40 and 30 metres respectively directly above the sea, they offer exceptional views of the Argolic Gulf, the Aegean Sea and the island of Spetses from inside and even more so from the adjoining terrace. From the houses, a private path with steps leads down to a small pebble beach in 4 to 5 minutes on foot.
The "small bungalow" consists of one room. It is simply furnished, but has all the necessary comforts such as hot water, shower, WC, kitchenette with fridge, cooker and electric grill. It is designed for up to 3 people. The bungalow is shaded so that you always have a pleasant room temperature without air conditioning. However, a fan can provide additional cooling if required. The east side is open to the sea and one part of this side is closed with windows and the other with fly screens. In this house, which is hidden under olive trees and was built in complete harmony with its surroundings, you live in complete harmony with nature without having to sacrifice a certain level of comfort.
