There was a group of us - 9 people and Closer To Home was perfect for us. It was very clean and and so comfortable and relaxing. The daily visits from the bears was exciting. The pool was nice and relaxing. Water a little chilly but still an asset. Will definitely stay in Black Bear Falls community again. Well worth it.

Amazing trip! We started off a little slow. The cabin had not been cleaned due to a communication issue. BUT, the host and managing company stepped in and recovered quickly. In addition, the host refunded money which our group used to enjoy a nice meal.I am very thankful for the host and the managing company. Amazing customer service and the cabin was spectacular! I will use this property again! And I recommend it to anyone with groups or large families.Thanks again david!

Was a great cabin it fit our needs very well. Only issue was the dryer was really slow 2 hours for a load. Other than that great location, great size, plenty of kitchen items for our large group. Would definitely rent again

We had a great time getting away and enjoying this cabin with family! It was a perfect setup for all of us, and we had fun reconnecting and relaxing! It was the perfect location to all the fun Gatlinburg has to offer but far enough away to feel secluded in the mountains. Will definitely stay again when we go back to Gatlinburg.

Great views, location

We loved the views from the deck and the convenience to GSMNP hikes like Grotto and Rainbow Falls. Would stay here again on future trips to Gatlinburg.

Spring Break 2025

We really enjoyed our stay! The house is set up nicely for multiple families. The view is amazing and the kids loved the games and hot tub. We even saw some bears in the neighborhood! We had a great time!

The view is just awesome

3 generations of woman from my family celebrated our 25th of getting together in the Gatlinburg area, the cabin is in a very well kept neighborhood & the view from the cabin is amazing.
