"La Casa di Petra"
was once a "rustico" (farm with 2 houses), with stables for the cattle, tool rooms and a flat on the upper floor.
The main house, built with "Mattoni" bricks and covered with "Coppi", was carefully rebuilt a few years ago using these (old) materials.
About 20 metres to the south-east was another, smaller farmhouse which, after reconstruction, offers the holiday flats "L'Oleandro", "L'Olivo" and "Il Gufo".
The flats "L'Oleandro" and "L'Olivo" are located next to each other on the ground floor with a large, shared terrace (40 square metres);
"Il Gufo" is in the basement with a portico (covered terrace) and its own sunbathing lawn/herb garden. Next to it is the entrance to the fitness room with cross trainer, weight bench and abdominal trainer, satellite TV and library as well as a laundry room with washing machine and tumble dryer, ironing board and iron. All flats have windows and patio doors with fly screens.
All flats have luxurious furnishings and are quietly situated above a large vineyard slope. The large garden of approx. 6000 square metres with olive, fig and fruit trees is at guests' disposal, as is the barbecue area with "alpine" table/bench and bench in the olive grove, popular as a breakfast spot with fantastic panoramic views of Ripatransone (480 m above sea level).

Location description : The beaches of the "Riviera delle Palme" can be reached in 15 minutes, the "Monti Sibilini" in less than an hour. There are plenty of good shopping facilities and excellent restaurants nearby, as well as in the coastal area, and golfers will find a course near Ancona and a small course near Massignano ("La Casa di Petra" is situated on an eastern slope (270 metres above sea level) with a panoramic view of the sea. It is a mountainous region in the west with Monte Vettore (2475 m) as the highest mountain in the Monti Sibillini. With two national parks, four regional parks and two nature reserves, around 10% of the entire region is protected. On the coast from Pesaro to San Benedetto, the Marche not only offers 180 kilometres of sandy and pebble beaches, but also cliffs (Riviera del Conero). Special attractions include the "Riviera delle Palme" with thousands of palm trees on the beaches of the province of Ascoli Piceno as well as the cities of Ancona, the capital and largest harbour city with ferry connections across the Adriatic; San Benedetto del Tronto, the largest fishing port.
