In the heart of Umbria, just a few minutes' walk from the historical centre of Castiglione del Lago and the shores of Lake Trasimeno, there is a large flat of about 80 square metres, located on the second floor of a modern building served by a lift. The location allows you to enjoy the tranquillity of a well-connected residential area, without giving up the convenience of having the old town, with its services, restaurants and attractions, within walking distance.
The bright and functional apartment is designed to comfortably accommodate up to six people. Inside there are two bedrooms, one double with a private bathroom with shower and bidet and one with two single beds. There is a further bathroom with bathtub. The living area is spacious and cosy, with a living room equipped with a comfortable double sofa bed, ideal for relaxing or adding extra beds. The kitchenette is fully equipped, designed to allow independent management of meals, even during long stays. There is also free Wi-Fi, heating and all the necessary equipment to feel at home all year round.

Castiglione del Lago is one of the most charming villages in Umbria, overlooking the western side of Lake Trasimeno and immersed in a landscape that alternates between water, hills and cultivated countryside. The historic centre, cosy and well-preserved, is the heart of the town and a must-see for anyone visiting the area.
Among the most significant sights is the Rocca del Leone, a majestic medieval fortress built in the 13th century, which with its crenellated walls and triangular tower dominates the lake and offers one of the most spectacular viewpoints in the entire region. Adjacent to the Rocca is the Palazzo della Corgna, an ancient noble residence frescoed by Mannerist artists such as Pomarancio and Salvio Savini, connected to the Rocca by an evocative covered walkway that allows visitors to cross the walls of the village with a unique view. A stroll through the centre leads to Piazza Mazzini, the heart of the village, and the Church of Santa Maria Maddalena, built in neoclassical style and easily recognisable by its elegant façade. The entire village, enclosed by ancient trapezoidal walls, still retains three original entrance gates, through which you can access a maze of cobbled streets, small shops selling typical products and romantic views of the lake. A few minutes from the centre is the Lido Comunale, where it is possible to relax on the shores of the lake or embark on a trip to the Trasimeno islands, particularly Isola Polvese, the largest, known for its lush nature, nature trails and historical ruins. Around Castiglione del Lago, it is also worth exploring the Parco Regionale del Lago Trasimeno, a protected natural area that is home to a wide variety of flora and fauna and offers trekking, cycling and birdwatching trails.
