Cosy house "De vesting", 2 storeys. In the centre of Vlissingen, in a secluded position, 800 m from the sea, 800 m from the beach. Extra. Supermarket 600 m, shopping centre, restaurant 800 m, bakery, pedestrian zone 600 m, bus stop "Scheldestraat, Scheldeplein" 200 m, railway station "Vlissingen Station" 1.9 km, ferry "Breskens" 1.9 km. Marina 1.2 km, sports centre 1.2 km, walking paths from the house, cycle lane 400 m. Nearby attractions: Reptielenzoo Iguana 1.2 km, Maritiem muzeeum 1.5 km, Nolle bos 2.7 km, Mini Mundi attractionpark 8 km, De Klepperhoeve kinderboerderij 9 km, Waterland Neeltje Jansz 31 km. The owner does not accept any youth groups. Please note: Loading and unloading of baggage is possible at the holiday house.

Open living/dining room with dining table, separate WC, TV and international TV channels. Exit to the terrace. Kitchen 8 m2 (oven, dishwasher, Gas stove, 5 gas rings, toaster, kettle, freezer, electric coffee machine). Upper floor: 3 double bedrooms, each room with 1 double bed (2 x 80 cm, length 200 cm). Bathroom, shower/WC. Small patio 45 m2. Terrace furniture. Facilities: washing machine, children's high chair, baby cot for up to 2 year olds. Internet (WiFi, free). Please note: non-smoking house. Smoke alarm, fire extinguisher.

Das Haus an sich ist liebevoll und gemütlich eingerichtet und die Bilder entsprechen den Tatsachen.Allerdings ist der ausgewiesene Parkplatz (wurde inzwischen aus der Beschreibung entfernt) ein kostenpflichtiger, öffentlicher Parkplatz in etwa 500m Entfernung. Zwar gut erreichbar, aber die täglichen Zusatzkosten von etwa 11 verbunden, was nicht vorab offensichtlich war. Erheblich schwerwiegender ist allerdings das undichte Dach in der Küche. An unserem zweiten Tag regnete es und plötzlich tropfte es aus der Küchenlampe, Wasser lief die Wand herunter. Es bildeten sich große Pfützen auf dem Boden in der Küche und im Nebenraum vor dem Kühlschrank. Zwar war der Vorort-Mitarbeiter direkt am nächsten Tag im Haus (und wir gerade zufällig auch) , helfen konnte er allerdings nicht. Ersatzferien-Häuser gab es keine mehr. Wir hatten die Option abzureisen (am dritten Tag) oder auf besseres Wetter zu hoffe. Da uns keine Garantie gegegeben wurde, dass wir unser Geld zurück bekommen, wenn wir abreisen, entschieden wir uns zu bleiben und auf besseres Wetter zu hoffen. Insgesamt standen wir zweimal in Pfützen. Bei jedem Schauer war die Wand feucht. Es roch deutlich nach nasser Wand. Der Schimmel an Wand zeigt davon, dass das Problem nicht erst bei uns aufgetreten sein kann, wie man uns versichert hat. Man hat uns eine Entschädigung in Aussicht gestellt. Auf dieses warten wir noch. Seit unserer Abreise hat niemand bei Interhome auf unsere Beschwerden reagiert, daher nicht empfehlenswert
