Our beautiful maisonette flat is located above the spa gardens of Friedrichroda. There is a forest railway stop 100 metres away. In addition to hiking on the Rennsteig, the Thuringian Forest offers you "pure nature" and "historical sights" this summer.

The flat is in a very nice villa. You walk across the street and are directly in the beautiful spa gardens of Friedrichroda. The beautiful Bad Tabarz and its fun pool can be easily reached by forest railway, as can the district town of Gotha.
From here you can easily reach Bad Tabarz, Gotha, Eisenach, Erfurt and Weimar by public transport. The Rennsteig, "Germany's largest hiking trail", is in the immediate vicinity.
