Living Area Provides Spectacular Views but Property Needs Work
The living/dining room and kitchen were up to standard with views of the ocean and a reasonably uncrowded beach. The house is an easy walk into town. The new Publix market is great and the bookstore has lots of books and jigsaw puzzles for rainy days. The internet worked throughout.
The bedrooms downstairs are dark and damp with evidence of longstanding mold and water damage. Bathrooms were adequate, but again mold stains were in evidence.
Kitchen reasonably well equipped, but some plates should be restocked. Some of the plastic deck chairs should be replaced.
There was an extra charge for use of a grill (gas or charcoal) as well as beach towels and beach chairs. These items have been included when we have rented other properties of this level on the island.
When we moved in we found dirt in the basement bedrooms.
