The Ardennes Park is a lush green area with a succession of forests, hedgerows, dry grasslands, peat bogs, rocky escarpments and waterways, making it ideal for outdoor pursuits such as walking, cycling, mountain biking, horse riding, fishing and canoeing. Walkers and hikers can have a great time on the many signposted footpaths or on the superb Voie Verte Trans-Ardennes. Visiting this region of the Ardennes also means taking in the beautiful views of the Meuse and Semoy rivers, discovering its traditions and cultures, sampling local produce and admiring its built heritage, which includes fortified churches, castles and citadels.
