The two adjoining accommodation units owe their name to a gnarled old chestnut tree whose outstretched branches already touch the ground. A tree like an apparition, almost a little unreal.

Each of the two generously proportioned flats has a beautiful terrace, which cannot even be seen by the neighbours, and from here you can gaze out over the beautiful landscape. In the summer months, storks often circle the sky or you can see pairs of cranes in the nearby fields. The modern, open-plan rooms are decorated with paintings by Berlin artist P. Lorenz and convey cosiness, warmth and a Mediterranean feeling. The large living area with kitchen block and dining table opens out onto the terrace and the green surroundings, making you feel like you are in an oasis. The special atmosphere that these rooms convey makes it easy for guests to stay at home, even when the weather is not so ideal.
