Our cosy, approximately 120-square-meter holiday rental is located on the ground floor of our lovingly preserved half-timbered house and combines nature, tranquility, and comfort. Two bathrooms and two bedrooms offer plenty of space for couples, families, or friends. The balcony, with a side view of the small stream, invites you to relax and unwind. The fully equipped kitchen, complete with a dishwasher, is perfect for cooking together, while the cosy living room offers a space for relaxing. The holiday apartment is situated in a quiet location between Kassel and Göttingen (both about 35 km away), just about 25 km from the Hoher Meisner and near the “cherry town” of Witzenhausen. Wi-Fi and two TVs are available to our guests free of charge. Our half-timbered house is situated in a quiet location, just a few steps from the Premium Hiking Trail, which winds through a biodiversity-rich juniper heath. Numerous herbs and wildflowers grow along the trail. Sweeping views over the hills surrounding Witzenhausen make the trail particularly appealing to nature lovers and those seeking relaxation. Parking and bicycle storage are available. Across the street is a bakery with an on-site shop; a restaurant is about 600 metres away. A small playground and a football field are just 160 metres away. We highly recommend a hike to Billstein, 5.5 km away, where you can stop for a bite to eat at the mountain restaurant, or a long walk along the cherry blossoms. The apartment captivates with its typical historic character and is ideal for both short- and long-term stays. A step leading into the kitchen, a landing in the hallway, and a small landing leading into the living room all add to the apartment’s special charm. Dogs are allowed by prior arrangement. Please understand that we can only accommodate well-socialized dogs that are accustomed to interacting with people and other animals. Please note: The apartment is not wheelchair accessible.
