The Italia Lido campground is located on the picturesque southwestern shore of Lake Maggiore in Castelletto sopra Ticino and enjoys a privileged, quiet, and panoramic setting. Families and active holidaymakers can enjoy flat, safe bike paths with views of Lake Varese, as well as a comprehensive entertainment programme in midsummer, ranging from a kids’ club to evening shows. The floating pool and the Ohana Water Park on the lake offer a unique leisure and entertainment experience. A variety of facilities, such as a football field, beach volleyball, outdoor fitness equipment, and a bocce court, provide a range of athletic activities. In addition, guests have access to Wi-Fi and a laundromat with credit card-operated washing machines.
The Happy Comfort mobile home accommodates up to 5 people. The unit consists of one bedroom with a double bed and one bedroom with two single beds. The upholstered seating area in the living room provides additional sleeping space. The kitchenette is also located in the living area and features a 4-burner gas stove, dishes, silverware, pots, and a refrigerator with a freezer compartment. The bathroom is equipped with a toilet, a shower, and a sink (in some mobile homes, the toilet is in a separate room). Air conditioning is available. The partially covered patio is furnished with a table and chairs, as well as two lounge chairs or sun loungers and an electric grill plate. Travel time from the Italian border is approximately 1 hour. Note: If you need more than one unit, this is usually possible with us, as we have several units of the same style.
ARRIVAL DATE + LENGTH OF STAY
Please refer to the calendar for the arrival and departure dates as well as the minimum length of stay during your desired season. Note: If, for any reason, you are unable to arrive on the scheduled arrival date, check-in on the following day is of course possible (please notify us before arrival). The same applies if you wish to depart early. In this case as well, departure on the previous day is possible. However, the rental period and price specified at the time of booking remain unchanged.
BEACH
The campground offers two private beaches with fine sand and gentle access to the water, which are particularly safe for children. While the beach within the campground offers a peaceful setting for guests with their own lounge chairs, the public beach outside the campground is ideal for visitors with dogs and features a convenient rental service for umbrellas and lounge chairs. For fun for all ages, there’s a floating water park on the lake (for a fee), a very popular attraction that guarantees entertainment in complete safety. Access is only permitted with the mandatory life jacket, which is provided by the resort.
POOL
A truly unique feature of the resort is the floating pool, which is installed directly on the lake. This unique experience harmoniously combines classic swimming fun with the impressive beauty of the surrounding landscape. To ensure maximum comfort and safety for all guests at all times, access to the pool must be reserved on-site for the specific day. Especially during peak times, this system ensures that you can enjoy a refreshing swim in a peaceful and exclusive atmosphere. This special attraction makes your stay at the campground an unforgettable highlight right on the water.
FAMILY-FRIENDLY
The campground is a paradise for parents and children seeking relaxation in nature. The centrepiece for little water lovers is the unique floating pool on the lake, as well as the gently sloping sandy beach, which allows for safe play along the shore. A colourfully designed playground invites the little ones to run around in the fresh air, while during peak season, the mascot “Gerry Duck” adds to the excitement at the Kids Club. Daily Baby Dance sessions and a variety of evening shows provide entertainment for the whole family and make your stay a special experience.
LEISURE AND SPORTS
The campground offers an ideal base for an active holiday. Sports enthusiasts can burn off energy playing football, volleyball, or beach volleyball on lighted courts, or use the outdoor fitness equipment for their daily workout. Water sports enthusiasts benefit from direct lake access via a private dock, where canoes and kayaks are available for trips on the water. Those who prefer to explore the surroundings on land will find a bike and e-bike rental service on-site to ride the flat, scenic bike paths along Lake Varese. The sports programme is rounded out by social classics like bocce, table tennis, billiards, and foosball, which create a competitive atmosphere right on the grounds.

DINING
The accommodation features a well-equipped kitchen. Alternatively, you can treat yourself to a delicious meal at the resort’s restaurant/pizzeria. You’ll find other restaurants serving local cuisine nearby.
PETS
One pet weighing up to 35 kg is welcome if registered at the time of booking. The guest is required to pay a 120-euro deposit if bringing a dog. If everything is in order upon departure, the guest will receive 100 euros of the deposit back, and 20 euros will go to the resort to cover additional cleaning costs.
SPECIAL INFORMATION
The tenant is responsible for final cleaning. Cleaning supplies such as brooms, mops, etc., are provided. The accommodation is inspected afterwards to ensure they are clean. Any complaints will result in a charge of 50 euros. High chairs and travel cots must be requested at the time of booking or reported no later than 1 week before arrival (later requests cannot be guaranteed). Name changes or substitutions of guests are not permitted during the stay.

Camping Italia Lido is located on the southwestern shore of Lake Maggiore in the municipality of Castelletto sopra Ticino (Piedmont), about 6 km south of the well-known town of Arona. Its convenient location makes for a quick trip, as Milan-Malpensa International Airport (MXP) is only about 15–20 km away, and the city of Milan is approximately 60 km away (about a 1-hour drive).

Castelletto Sopra Ticino, in the southern part of Lake Maggiore, is beautifully framed by rolling hills on one side and the Ticino River on the other. In particular, the Borromean Islands archipelago, located between Verbania and Stresa, invites visitors to enjoy unforgettable excursions. Numerous botanical gardens transform Lake Maggiore into an oasis for garden lovers.
