The Little and Big Zschirnstein—our local mountains—and the surrounding trails to the Papststein, Gohrisch, Katzstein, or even Wolfsberg, Zirkelstein, and Kaiserkrone, as well as the Bastei on the other side of the Elbe, the wildly romantic Kirnitzschtal valley, and the bizarre Schrammsteine rock formation are just a few of the wonderful destinations.
Art and culture are also well represented.
Königstein Fortress, Weesenstein Castle, Stolpen Castle, Pillnitz Palace, Pirna, and Dresden are just a few examples of the most beautiful sights in the area.
