Views and lodge layout are spectacular! Fun to view bear as he visited nearby one afternoon. We had a nice week with our 16 person friends group. Road up to lodge is in very rough shape. 4 wheel drive is best. Intermittent sewer odor is annoying. Lodge could use a deep clean.

Great place to stay

We had a blast in gatlinburg and pigeon forge The house was very clean and had tons of space The only thing that needs to be made clear before booking is the steepness of the driveway We were unprepared for that going in But other wise totally worth the whole trip and distance to attractions was great !

Nice place for a large group

We had 11 people, aged 12 and up, and we all enjoyed the cabin. It's very roomy, we loved that everyone had plenty of space, and the cabin was so close to town. The hot tub is huge, and the view is unbeatable - and I've stayed in dozens of cabins. Absolutely recommend this place! We had a couple of small issues, but were able to get things worked out with the owner with a bit of persistence. Thank you for a nice stay!

Amazing trip

This was our 3rd time visiting Gatlinburg. We love the area. This house was perfect for our family. Plenty of room, and the views were splendid. The house was a great location to both the town of Gatlinburg, and tp Pigeon Forge. The bear sightings are always a great thrill. The owner was awesome to work with and communicate with.

Our whole family was able to come together in this cabin and have a wonderful time for Christmas. Lots of room and parking just didn't like the road up to the cabin. If we are to do this again we will reach out for this cabin again.

Annual bear vacation

Enjoyed our stay, owner was very responsive to any issues. Only disappointment was there was not a lot of room for young children to play outside because of the terrain. The daily visit by 2 young bears made up for the outside terrain.

Great stay with amazing views

We truly enjoyed our stay and the property owner was very responsive. Loved the views! All the rooms was perfect for our group! Had space for everyone! We were there for the smoky mountain Jeep invasion and got some awesome pics of our Jeeps right in the parking area of the cabin. We had a chance to enjoy the fire pit one night too. Thanks for having the cut firewood ready and sharing your awesome home!

Amazing for a large group

Our extended family (5 different families of cousins and 18 people total) stayed here for a week vacation. There was plenty of room to accommodate us without feeling cramped. The view is seriously the best. You get to feel like you’re secluded in the mountains when in reality you’re nestled right between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, which means short trips to everything. Ed was responsive and an amazing host during our stay, willing to pick up trash midweek. I would recommend this to all, and will stay here again if we do another trip to TN.

Great stay at the Lidge!

The property was as described. Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms for our group of 18. The house had everything we needed from bedding, pots/pans to linens and towels. The views were just amazing! The fire pit was perfect for all of us to sit and enjoy. We had daily visitors that kept us on the lookout every time we came outside. 🐻 Ed was very responsive on all of our communication. PHS Class of 82 was very pleased with our stay! Awesome memories were made!! Thank you!

Experience

It was so exciting to see the bears! It worked for our families. Only problems we had was the hot tub, it wasn’t warm when we got there, owners sent someone fast and adjusted it, finally got warm the day we left. The road up the hill is intense, not made for motorcycles( repeat:not made for motorcycles) both of ours turned over! We enjoyed the view, it was spectacular!

Fun for the whole family

This property was ideal for our crew! Plenty of room for our group to sleep comfortably in each room. Kitchen was stocked with mostly what we needed to cook to feed the group. Multiple porch swings on the different decks and patios were so nice for morning coffee solitude or chats. The hot tub is spacious and the views of the mountains were breathtaking! We loved the wood furniture and the attention to detail with the comforters and decor. We had multiple bear sightings, which was so fun for young and old. From the bear greeting us when we arrived to the little bear sending us off at our departure. It was a SUPER cool experience to see so closely. The bears would leave when we got loud, so we didn’t have any safety concerns. Overall this lodge was perfect for our large group, fun for the adults and kids. It was nice, but didn’t feel like a museum. It was very comfy and cozy. Host was very responsive. Highly recommend.
