Situated in a quiet location on the edge of a field and just 400 metres from the dike, you can enjoy the relaxed atmosphere of the North Sea coast and the unobstructed view of the fields.

Named after the saltwort, the characteristic plant of the North Sea salt marshes, the To'n Quellerhuus symbolises a connection to the unique coastal landscape right outside your door. Here, where the dike, mudflats, and vast fields meet, you’ll find a place to unwind, take a deep breath, and feel at ease. Our lovingly furnished holiday home, spanning approximately 75 m², offers the perfect retreat for families, couples, and friends. Situated in a quiet location on the edge of a field and just 400 metres from the dike, you can enjoy the relaxed atmosphere of the North Sea coast and the unobstructed view of the fields. The open-concept living, dining, and kitchen area is perfect for cooking, playing, and relaxing together. From here, you have direct access to the furnished patio with a small garden—the ideal spot for breakfast in the morning sun or cosy evenings under the string of lights. To ensure a carefree holiday, we also provide a bicycle for your morning trip to get fresh bread, a handcart, sand and garden toys, and a charcoal grill. Upstairs, you’ll find a bedroom with a double bed, another bedroom with two single beds that can be pushed together to form a spacious family bed if needed, and a lovingly designed playroom with books, toys, and a cosy storey corner. A travel cot, high chair, and safety rail are provided. Warm colours, Mediterranean accents, and many small details create an atmosphere where you’ll feel welcome from the very first moment. Wi-Fi, a washing machine, and a hair dryer further ensure a comfortable stay. The surrounding area also has a lot to offer: The Friedrichskoog Seal Sanctuary is only about 5 km away; Büsum is about a 45-minute drive, and St. Peter-Ording is about an hour away. Hamburg, located about a 90-minute drive away, is a great destination for a day trip. Hamburg Airport is also easily accessible, located about 106 km away. Friedrichskoog is conveniently located in the southern part of the Wadden Sea, an UNESCO World Natural Heritage Site. This romantic seaside resort with its healthy North Sea air is ideal for a holiday with children. The beach is gently sloping and well-supervised. There’s a large pirate playground and, of course, the seal sanctuary. In addition, there are many biking and hiking trails for exploring the North Sea coast at your own pace. Friedrichskoog also serves as a great starting point for mudflat hikes or day trips to all the highlights along the coast, as well as excursions to the islands and Halligen.
