Welcome to Livias Lodge—your retreat on the edge of the forest, right next to Bornbruchsmoor.
This lovingly furnished cottage combines tranquility, nature, and comfort—perfect for unwinding, taking a deep breath, and enjoying yourself.

The special highlights are the private sauna and the hot tub in the garden—ideal for relaxing evenings after a walk through the surrounding forests and moorlands.

You’ll find a cosy living and dining area with plenty of wood and warm lighting, a fully equipped kitchen, and two bedrooms that sleep up to 6 people in total. Large windows and the open layout create a bright, pleasant atmosphere.

The patio and garden invite you to linger—whether enjoying breakfast in the sun or a quiet evening surrounded by nature. A high-quality gas grill is also available, perfect for relaxing barbecue evenings.

The lodge is situated in a quiet location on the edge of the forest and borders directly on the Bornbruchsmoor—ideal for long walks and nature experiences right on your doorstep. You can also take your dog on beautiful walks through the forest, moor, and heath.

The surrounding area is also perfect for bike rides—numerous trails wind through the diverse landscape of the Südheide.

Nearby, you’ll also find the heathland around the “Heiligen Hain” near Betzhorn, as well as the Knesebeck swimming area (about 1 km away) with a sandy beach and swimming lake—perfect for warm days.

The town of Knesebeck is also only about 1 km away and offers everything you need for daily life: shopping, restaurants, and a train station with connections throughout the region.

Livias Lodge is located in the Südheide tourism region and is an ideal starting point for day trips: whether to the Lüneburg Heath in the north or the Harz Mountains in the south, everything is easily accessible. The exciting city of Wolfsburg and the International Mill Museum in Gifhorn are also only about 30 minutes away.

Dogs are very welcome here. The garden is completely fenced in (fence height approx. 140 cm)
