Gîte Vanille for 2–3 Guests, Near Honfleur with Pool

Gîte Vanille is part of La Ferme de l'Eglise, which also includes three other gîtes. You have free access to the pool and high-speed internet. Perfect for 2 guests, the gîte provides all necessary comforts. Located in a typical Norman building, it is semi-detached with Gîte Cannelle, but each accommodation is independent and garden dining areas are separate. Just 10 minutes from Honfleur and its beach, the location is ideal. A grocery store and bar are 300 meters away, and a traditional restaurant is 5 minutes by car. A pétanque court and hammock are also available near the gîte.

The petite chaumière is a detached house and part of the La Ferme de l'Eglise gîtes estate.



Perfect for gatherings with friends or family, this charming, characterful cottage is typically Norman.



It accommodates 2 to 5 guests.



The house features 3 main rooms: a fully equipped kitchen (oven, washing machine, dishwasher, ceramic hob, fridge, etc.), a bar-style dining table for 5. The living area has a 140x190 sofa bed and a flat-screen TV with satellite channels. There’s a shower room with WC.



A shared (unheated) pool and pétanque court are available.



Private parking is included. High-speed internet is provided.

The owner was absolutely a nice person, however the place we stayed at was far below our expectations (expectations from the pictures and the description). Unfortunately, the place (it was a caravan) too tight and small to open a suitcase fully without having to step over it to walk. There were tons of pesky mosquitos that would bite all night long with nothing to orevent that or to kill them, the curtains were too shorts and too few to cover the windows completely, the refrigerator was too small (normal in a caravan we could say), the shower cabin was absolutely too tight (couldn’t bend to wash without bumping into the door), and the parking spot was way too far for a family with suitcases and young kids…especially when it rains hard!A more precise description, with more details would have helped better to actually understand how the place is. So, that is going to be 2 stars for the owner and his employee, but 0 for the lodging.

Bonjour ariitea et Wiliam, Je suis surpris de votre commentaire car vous sembliez ravi de votre séjour. Je vous rappelle que nous vous avons surclassé sans supplément dans la Roulotte pour que vous puissiez avoir un jardin privatif pour votre petite famille. C'est vous qui avez accepté ce changement. Les moustiques.. Eh oui.. il peut y en avoir quand les conditions climatiques sont défavorable et que l'on laisse les fenêtres constamment ouvertes. Catherine vous aurait gentiment donné des prises anti moustiques si elle avait été au courant de ce désagrément. Quand au confort elle convient parfaitement pour une petite famille avec 2 enfants. Vous êtes partis 2 jours avant la fin de votre séjour, sans dire au revoir et en laissant la roulotte dans un état très sale, je vous ai même rappelé au téléphone et, tout semblait parfait pour vous..? Désolé que votre séjour ne vous ai pas plus, mais cela ne reflète en aucun cas les avis des autres voyageurs. Cordialement. Gilles
