Time to relax. Former priory in the Auvergne.
Within these ancient walls, far from the noise of the city, accompanied by the chirping of birds and the chirping of crickets, the soul can find peace.
A fully equipped kitchen-dining area offers everything a holiday gourmet could wish for.
The interior design of the house is intentionally kept simple, yet you won’t have to go without anything. There are plenty of opportunities around the house to relax and read.
Hiking guides are available for beautiful hikes in the surrounding area. If you’d like, you can go swimming or canoeing in the nearby Allier River. The nearby volcanic peaks also offer wonderful destinations for day trips. Every August, La Chaise-Dieu hosts a major classical music festival; the local church was commissioned by Pope Clement VI and is definitely worth a visit.
The town of Le Puy-en-Velay and the smaller village of Brioude, both nearby, are also well worth seeing.
