For seminar groups, the seminar room offers a wide range of equipment, including meditation cushions, yoga mats, blankets, tables, chairs, a high-quality sound system, a flip chart, a piano, a guitar, and a gong. The seminar room, which is approximately 50 m² in size, offers ample space for groups of up to 20 people (more upon request).

We have many board games as well as outdoor games, such as badminton, football, etc. Guests are also welcome to use our ping-pong table (please bring your own paddles and balls). A grill is also available.

In addition, there are bathroom facilities and a large, beautiful garden that groups are free to use. A large, wind-protected dune with a campfire pit is also available in the garden, as well as a smaller dune area. A hammock in the garden also invites you to relax.

The seminar house features a high-quality home theatre sound system (Teufel Theatre 500, 5.1.2 Dolby Atmos) for an immersive film and audio experience.

A TV with a Fire TV Stick can also be rented for the duration of your stay (no standard TV reception; use via your own streaming services such as Netflix or Amazon Prime is possible).

The seminar kitchen is fully equipped and ideal for groups to comfortably and easily prepare their own meals during their stay.

Unser The “Alte Schule” seminar house in Bordelum (Büttjebüll district) is a special place in North Frisia, just a few kilometres from the North Sea. The historic building, dating from 1872, once served as a village school and has been lovingly transformed into a stylishly renovated seminar centre, guesthouse, and holiday home. It combines the charm of bygone days with modern amenities—ideal for seminars, workshops, retreats, courses, or a relaxing holiday.

A very special place—close to the North Sea
The “Alte Schule” seminar house in Bordelum is a wonderful place for connection, relaxation, and inspiration. Seminars, workshops, and continuing education programmes are held here. External seminar leaders can book the house for their events. At the same time, our house welcomes holidaymakers for relaxing getaways: with guest rooms, a holiday apartment, and a separate guesthouse—all conveniently bookable through us. We recommend checking the location of the centre on Google Maps in advance.

The centre is also the home of the Naturgefühl Wilderness School run by Ingmar and Leah Gröhn, who manage both the seminar centre and the wilderness school with heart and dedication - www.wildnisschule-naturgefuehl.de.
