This spacious home located at the top of Big Creek features 5 decks totaling over 2100 square feet of outdoor living overlooking Norris Lake. Decks include comfortable furniture, a fire pit, propane grill and outdoor shower.

The home has an open floor plan with large kitchen/family room. The kitchen is well equipped for large groups. The garage has been converted to a rec room ("The Hangar") with comfortable recliners, a large screen TV, ping pong table and sliding glass doors to a deck overlooking the lake.

There are six bedrooms, including three with king sized beds. The home sleeps 18 in real beds (no bunk beds, trundle beds, futons or sleeper sofas). All beds have comfortable bedding.

There are about 100 stairs from the deck down to a private dock with large swim platform and year round deep water. One slip is available for renters. The stairs are brand new for 2024 with railings on both sides.

Big creek is a quieter part of the lake and offers the some of the smoothest waters for skiing, wake-boarding, kayaking or taking a leisurely cruise. The area is also known for excellent fishing.

While this area of the lake is less congested and feels "away from it all" it is only three miles from town for grocery shopping and restaurants. It has very easy access to Indian River, Whitman Hollow and Sequoyah marinas. The home is only 15 minutes off of the highway.

The main house has two bedrooms on the first floor and two on the second floor. The remaining two bedrooms, including "The Barracks", are located above the hangar. The main house and hangar are connected so you do not need to go outside. However the second floors are not connected, so you have to go down one set of stairs and back up the other.

There is a mobile home located on the property which can be rented in conjunction with the main home. This provides convenient additional sleeping areas for larger groups. It includes two bedrooms, a full bath, kitchen and living room as well as a deck with lake.
The home is in a neighborhood which includes both vacation properties and full time residents. It is a fantastic place for family gatherings, fishing weekends, book club getaways and so much more. Due to the proximity of neighbors, it is not a good location for loud/late parties. We hope and expect our guest to enjoy themselves while also being considerate to the needs of our neighbors.
