The highlight for sun lovers and walkers is the long sandy beach with separate dog and nudist areas. Guided mudflat hikes start from Hooksiel or Schillig beach. A beach chair can be provided on request, subject to availability and for an extra charge.



Excursion tips: The old town of Jever with its castle is 10 km away via scenic bike paths. Boat trips to the seal banks, Jade-Weser-Port, or Helgoland depart from Hooksiel.
