Located near the Baltic Sea in a very quiet setting, this ground-floor holiday rental offers relaxation in a historic and natural environment, with plenty of greenery on both sides of the building.
Our house has two holiday apartments. On several occasions, couples and families—including those spanning multiple generations—who are friends with one another have used both apartments for holidays during the same time period.
In our “Old Village School” in Lübow, built in 1754, we have furnished a cosy, small holiday apartment on the ground floor.
The apartment features a maritime-Scandinavian theme inspired by the nearby Baltic Sea.
It is equipped with modern furnishings.
The apartment is 40 m² and accommodates two adults.
As part of the complete renovation in 2021, we prioritised eco-friendly materials, allergy-friendly design, and the use of alternative energy sources.
The bathroom, completely renovated in 2021, features a walk-in shower, underfloor heating, and a heated towel rack.
The open kitchen area offers great opportunities for cooking your own meals.
The view from the breakfast table into the garden is a refreshing way to start the day.
The bedroom and living area are open-concept yet designed so that living and sleeping in the double bed (200x180 cm) are discreetly separated.
The apartment offers a pleasant indoor climate year-round, thanks to the house’s half-timbered adobe construction.
The solid clay masonry stove provides long-lasting, cosy warmth on cold days and also helps cool the room in the summer. The windows are equipped with insect screens, allowing for easy ventilation.
Guest Wi-Fi is available free of charge.
On the west side of the holiday rental is the Lübow village church, built in the Brick Gothic style—the oldest in Mecklenburg.
A spacious, sunny terrace with a view of the garden to the east is available exclusively to guests of the holiday rental.
Parking is available right next to the house.
You’re welcome to bring bicycles and e-bikes. These can be stored in the carport, where they can also be charged.
We’re very flexible and are prepared to accommodate last-minute bookings.

Pets of any kind are not permitted. We appreciate your understanding.
The price for final cleaning also includes the cost of bed linens and towels.
Check-in (from 4:00 PM) and check-out (by 10:00 AM) are possible on all weekdays.
We live here and make it a point to welcome our guests personally.

The property is located on Greeser Weg, set back from the country road, and is in a very quiet setting.

Travel by car and local area
Lübow is easily accessible from the south via the A14 Jesendorf (8 km) or via the A20/A14 Wismar interchange (6 km).
The cities of Schwerin, Rostock, and Lübeck are approximately one hour away via the highways.
The centre of the Hanseatic city of Wismar is just 7 km away via a country road.
