We made a last minute booking to break up out trip southwards. Accommodation is spacious and spotless clean. We enjoyed the garden area: excellent views of the valley below with the sounds of nature and nice sunsets. Hosts were very welcoming and they recommended an excellent Italian restaurant near. We hope to return some day.

Die Umgebung besticht durch ruhiges Landleben mit vielen Möglichkeiten zum Entspannen, Spazieren, Fahrradfahren sowie durch die Nähe zum schönen Ruwertal, dem Hochwald und Deutschlands ältester Stadt Trier.

Wir sind neu als Gastgeber und haben die Wohnung kürzlich eingerichtet und optimieren die Ausstattung gerne mit Ihrer Hilfe. Was sie bisher erwartet:

Schlafplätze für bis zu 4 Personen auf zwei komfortable Betten für erholsame Nächte. Wir haben zwei Schlafzimmer. Es gibt dort ein großes Doppelbett (180x200 cm) und ein kleines Doppelbett, das wir verliebten oder Eltern mit kleinen Kindern empfehlen (120x200 cm). Zusätzlich kann die Couch im Wohnzimmer als Schlafcouch genutzt werden. Wenn Sie mehr als 4 Personen sein sollten, sprechen Sie uns gerne an. Bettwäsche und Handtücher im Bad sind für Sie selbstverständlich immer inklusive!

Im Wohn- und Esszimmer mit Esstisch für 6 Personen lädt eine gemütliche Couch mit Couchtisch zum Entspannen vor den bodentiefen Fenstern ein. Von hier geht es auch direkt auf die Terrasse, die einen weitläufigen Blick in unseren Garten und den Wald erlaubt.

Die Küche ist ausgestattet mit Herd, Backofen, Töpfen, Pfannen, Wasserkocher, Kaffeemaschine und allem, was man zum Kochen braucht.

Wellness-Badezimmer: Sehr geräumig, ausgestattet mit einer separaten Dusche und einer großen Badewanne. Handtücher, Haartrockner und Seife werden von uns gestellt.

Holzerath und das Ruwertal bieten Ihnen Erholung pur direkt vor der Haustür: Nur ca. 20 Gehminuten entfernt liegt der Holzerather See – perfekt zum Abkühlen und Sonnenbaden im Sommer. Er ist auch mit dem Auto zu erreichen. Sonntags-Spezial: Jeden Sonntag gibt es frische Grillwaren und kühle Getränke direkt vor Ort! Sie profitieren hier von der Nähe zur Römerstadt Trier (Fahrzeit 20-25 min), zur Mosel, dem Ruwertal, Luxemburg und der Region Saar-Hunsrück. Hier kommen Wanderer, Radfahrer, Naturfreunde, historisch, kulturell und kulinarisch interessierte, Weinliebhaber und Familien auf ihre Kosten. Unzählige Wanderwege (z. B. Traumschleifen) und Radwege starten in der direkten Umgebung. Interessant für Familien: Ein Spielplatz und ein Sportplatz befinden sich in der näheren Umgebung.
