Everything was wonderful. Great location for us and the guest house was perfect. It was clean, well kept and perfect for our needs. It is private but yet close enough to visit Yellowstone easily, and our trip to Bozeman and to Livingston was easy from this location as well. Would definitely stay there again if we are ever in the area again.
Outstanding property - log cabin surrounded by farm land (with sheep grazing) and amazing views of Paradise Valley and the Absaroka Mountain Range. Very private, great parking and wonderful hosts.
My husband and I rented this cabin in Montana for a long weekend. It was perfect for us, amazing views and very quiet. The was extremely clean and cozy. We would stay here again 100%.
Cabin was as expected, location was great, cooler for drinks and snacks was great to have on the long days of driving..would stay again, Kendra was fantastic.
We had a great stay. Beautiful view from the porch. Very clean inside, and was stocked with everything we needed. We loved it, and would definitely stay again!
The best host you will ever find with a property better than the pictures. The log cabin gives you the old west feel with modern amenities. Just step out at night and you can see all of the stars in the sky and then get up early to watch the sunrise over the mountains in the morning. Total complete BLISS when you want to get away.
We loved our stay - the place was spacious and had everything we needed. We also loved having the two bathrooms and access to the board games (and checking out the sheep farm!). The location was great - really quiet, beautiful views, and in between Yellowstone and Livingston. If we return to MT, we would gladly stay here again!!
Our stay was great: the location in Paradise Valley is perfect for anyone checking out Livingston, Emigrant, Pray, or looking for access to the Park while staying away from the crowds. Great to be able to have coffee and enjoy the valley while watching the Pinto Ranch sheep as well. Access was easy and the cabin is wonderful size- especially for the price point.
This was the perfect spot to just relax and enjoy the scenery. It was a great jumping off spot to enjoy Yellowstone and the surrounding, local area. The cabin was comfortable, and the pups had a great time as well. Kindra was a great host, and she was very helpful anytime we had questions. Thanks for a great stay!
We absolutely loved this cabin! We visited Montana for a wedding and this cabin was perfect! It is conveniently right off the highway about 20 minutes away from downtown Livingston. The view from the cabin is breathtaking, we had breakfast out in the patio, and the view of the mountains made it extra special. I would totally recommend this location and we hope to one day visit again.
Property beautiful, cabin was perfect. Enjoyed sitting on porch with binoculars looking at everything! Family was staying at another VRBO across the road. Didn’t get to meet our hostess.
The cabin was very clean & comfy! Two retired people out for our 1st big trip away from home & this cabin was the perfect place to do it. Beautiful back porch sunsets & was fun to get to see Kindra bring in the sheep one night on her 4 wheeler. I would recommend this cabin to anyone wanting to reconnect with nature. It's not the destination, it's the journey! Liss & Greg from WI.
The cabin was well organized with everything that we could possibly need.
Nicely furnished rustic interior decorated in Western style with leather sofa and easy chairs. Large table in dining area off of kitchen The two bedrooms are private, located on either side of kitchen /dining/living room area with updated bathrooms.near each
Covered porches on front and back for truly beautiful Sunrise and Sunset viewing over the surrounding mountains.
The location is very good. Easy access from RT 89, yet setback enough for quiet and privacy.
The General Store in Emigrant is very well stocked and also in Emigrant, Follow Your Nose BBQ is amazing.
The kind hosts Kindra & Kory are nearby and very welcoming and helpful.
This is a roomy cabin in a great location, quiet, close to Yellowstone, Livingston, Bozeman, and other attractions. Kindra is a great host, responding quickly to any questions or concerns. We learned quite a bit about sheep ranching. Would recommend highly, just not when we want to be there again!!
Desk near door was helpful/big table/ comfy chairs in living room/close to Chico Springs and Emigrante. Host helped us with accommodations for our horses at the fair grounds!
Peaceful Paradise Valley Setting - Don’t miss out!!
My family of three had a wonderful stay at Kindra and Korey’s log cabin. The setting was beautiful. The cabin was clean and the beds were comfy. I was a little nervous about the cabin not having AC when we booked, however, we followed Kindra’s instructions for keeping the cabin cool and it worked wonderfully. We stayed very comfortable and never found the cabin to be stuffy during the heat of the day. My husband fly fishes and found some good access spots on the Yellowstone River near the cabin.

I am a native Montanan. I grew up, went to school and graduated from Montana State University in beautiful Bozeman, Montana. I have been lucky to enjoy the beauty of this place and participate in the many outdoor activities Montana has to offer. I raise registered Katahdin sheep on the ranch, and of course have a few border collies and a horse on the payroll to help me. My folks have lived on this ranch for over 25 years, and together we have the rental cabin, and also run a mini storage business.
Why they chose this property
The Pinto Ranch Cabin is located in the middle of the Paradise valley which gives you close access to the outdoors, but is still close to Livingston, Gardiner, and Yellowstone Park. Access to the cabin is just 1/4 mile off of Hwy 89 S. 360 degree view of the mountains.
