Welcome to our Waldlust holiday rental—a spacious, family-friendly accommodation on our Demeter-certified organic farm in Straßdorf in the Ostalb region.

Our farm is situated in a quiet, secluded location, surrounded by meadows, forests, and orchards. Here you’ll experience authentic country life, plenty of nature, and a relaxed atmosphere far away from traffic and the stresses of everyday life.

The 60 m² holiday apartment can accommodate up to six people and is ideal for large families or multi-generational getaways. A separate entrance leads you into the bright and spacious living area, which immediately puts you in a holiday mood thanks to its cosy design.

The large, fully equipped kitchen offers plenty of space for cooking together. A particular favourite is preparing regional products from our farm store—fresh beef, homemade sausage, honey, and seasonal fruits and vegetables.

The ground floor also features a cosy dining area that invites you to enjoy meals together and relax. From here, you have direct access to the terrace and the great outdoors—the large playground is right outside the door.

For families with small children, we’re happy to provide baby gear such as safety gates, a nappy pail, a high chair, and a step stool so that even the littlest ones feel completely at home.

A staircase leads to the upper floor, which features two bedrooms. The children’s room has bunk beds as well as two single beds—perfect for siblings or friends. In the master bedroom, a comfortable double bed ensures restful nights and a beautiful view of nature.

The bright bathroom with a shower and toilet is modernly equipped and offers everything you need for daily comfort. Underfloor heating, free Wi-Fi, satellite TV, and revitalised Grander water ensure a pleasant living experience in every season.

A special highlight: The Waldlust terrace is connected to the neighbouring Wiesenglück apartment and can be separated if needed—ideal for shared family holidays while still providing a private retreat for each unit.

Our Demeter farm is managed biodynamically and stands for sustainability, animal welfare, and a respectful approach to nature. The farm is home to cattle, mother cows, chickens, pigs, sheep, ducks, cats, our farm dog Jenny, and bees. Here, guests can experience hands-on farming and authentic country life.

Right next to the holiday home, there are plenty of play options, including a slide, swing, sandpit, playhouse, trampoline, and football goals—perfect for a relaxing family holiday with plenty of outdoor activity.

The Waldlust is the perfect starting point for hikes, bike rides, and excursions into the charming landscape of the Ostalb. After an eventful day, you’ll return to a spacious, quiet, and comfortable holiday rental with plenty of room for the whole family.

Our accommodation do not include bed linens or a laundry package as standard. You’re welcome to add these flexibly as needed:

Bedding: 9 € per person (one-time fee per stay)
Towel package: 6 € per person (includes shower towel, hand towel, and tea towels)

This way, you can decide for yourself whether to bring your own linens or arrive relaxed and comfortable.
