Located in the idyllic “Gateway to the Eifel, Moselle Region, and Hunsrück” in Föhren (near Trier and Luxembourg), a retreat full of imagination, style, and relaxation awaits you here. Here, you can arrive, take a deep breath, and leave everyday life

The Accommodation
Experience “Fascinosa”—a place for individualists in the heart of the Moselle wine region, perfectly situated between historic Trier and the border with Luxembourg.
We’ve designed our private holiday rental with great attention to detail, creativity, and artistic flair. Fascinosa is more than just a place to stay; it’s a sanctuary for the senses that harmoniously blends comfort, art, nature, and a healthy dose of originality.
Living in a work of art: Handcrafted Furniture & Iconic Taxis
The interior of Fascinosa is defined by creativity. Everywhere you look, you’ll find carefully selected works of art, sculptures, and rotating exhibits of paintings by artist friends. Many of our pieces of furniture are lovingly handcrafted originals—true little works of furniture art that you won’t find anywhere else.
The absolute centrepiece of the living area is our colourful, one-of-a-kind piece: a sofa made
from an Indian taxi. (the perfect photo spot!)
Another very comfortable sofa provides space for relaxing with friends and family. For little explorers, we have a collection of games, books, drawing paper, and crayons. The sofa has a pull-out sleeping surface measuring 160 x 200 cm and offers additional sleeping space for the 5th and 6th guests. Upon request, we’ll set up the sofa as a sleeping area.

Kitchen & Dining Area
The kitchen is fully equipped with a stove, oven, dishwasher, washing machine, coffee maker, and all the accessories you need for self-catering. From the cosy dining area for 6 people, you have direct access to the 25 m² terrace with lounge furniture and a charcoal grill. A high chair is also available and will be provided upon request.

Garden Oasis & Culinary Delights for All the Senses
Step out into our terraced sandstone garden—your private oasis of well-being.
Waterfall: Enjoy the sun by the warm natural stone walls while a small waterfall gently splashes.

Fresh Harvest: In the mood for a dinner with a twist? Feel free to help yourself to fresh herbs and seasonal vegetables from our raised garden bed and garden. Snacking is allowed!

Bedroom 1
Customised sleeping comfort: We want you to enjoy a restful night’s sleep.
In addition to a first-class double box-spring bed (180 x 200 cm) with high-quality mattresses, flanked by custom-designed nightstands from our artist’s workshop, the
bedroom features a reading nook and a small work desk. A
Hauck cot is available for your little ones upon request. (Please let us know before your arrival if this is needed)
The modern, triple-glazed windows guarantee an undisturbed night’s sleep.

Bedroom 2 (Flexible):
Two flexible, high-quality box beds (each 100x200 cm) for children or friends can be joined together upon request to form a luxury-width bed of 200 cm for couples. Upon request, we’ll prepare the beds with fresh linens according to your preferences.

Everything within easy reach—the convenience of short distances:
Just a few minutes’ walk away, you’ll find a popular restaurant with a large sun terrace. Perfect for guests who want to wind down the day on the terrace with a view of sport planes taking off.

Village charm & amenities: A modern discount store for daily needs and a traditional bakery with an attached corner store are right around the corner—ideal for fresh rolls in the morning.

Direct Access to Nature: The entrance to the Meulenwald, the largest contiguous forest area in the Eifel, is practically right on your doorstep.

Pilot Special: Fly-In & Comfort: For guests arriving in their own small plane, the “Fascinosa” is a rare find: The neighbouring Föhren airfield is just a few minutes’ walk away via a dirt road. Land, check in, and relax on the “taxi sofa” in just a few moments—a perfect stop for aviation enthusiasts.

The Perfect Starting Point for Explorers (Moselle, Eifel, Hunsrück, Trier & Luxembourg)
Föhren is ideally located in the heart of one of Germany’s most diverse holiday regions. From here, all paths are open to you: the romantic Moselle (Roman Wine Route), the mystical forests and maars of the Eifel, the Meulenwald—Europe’s largest contiguous forest area—and the heights of the Hunsrück, as well as the popular Eifel and Moselsteig trails, are right on your doorstep. In just 15–20 minutes, you can reach historic Trier, and the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg is also perfect for a day trip.

Wine & Indulgence: Enjoy the Moselle’s first-class Rieslings directly at the winery or while hiking through Europe’s steepest vineyards.

Inspired by our immediate proximity to ANNAMALT’s Artist House—one of the “111 must-see places along the Moselle”— —we’ve created an atmosphere at “Fascinosa” that carries on this creative energy. While art history is being made right next door, we set our own tone inside Fascinosa: Our sofa, made from an Indian taxi, isn’t just a piece of furniture—it’s a statement of individuality and open-mindedness.
This artistic freedom extends to the outdoor area, where the gentle waterfall flowing from the sandstone walls provides the ideal backdrop for inspiring moments.
When you stay here, you’re not just booking a room—you’re immersing yourself in a world full of imagination and beauty.

Our Grand Opening Special (bookings of 3 days or more)
As a very special highlight for our first guests, we offer a visit to the
neighbouring artists’ house, widely known from film and television. The artist ANNAMALT will personally guide you through all the rooms of her total work of art.

Additional important information
Our apartment has been completely renovated in a modern style. Due to its central location on a village street, the accommodation features modern, triple-glazed windows for optimal living comfort.
A special bonus: The cosy terrace and the sandstone garden are located on the sunny back side of the building. As a result, the terrace and the entire garden area are absolutely quiet and offer you a peaceful, green oasis of relaxation.

In addition to free Wi-Fi throughout the entire apartment and in the garden/terrace with speeds of up to 1000 Mbps (up to 500 Mbps upload), as well as network jacks in all living areas, the property features a Smart TV (300+ channels) and Netflix (pay-per-view content from Netflix, etc., is not included in the room rate)

The apartment has its own private entrance and a parking space with an electric charging station (for a fee—billed per kWh used).

The appearance of the immediate surroundings upon arrival is somewhat rustic, as the exterior (facade and courtyard) of the adjacent house is still under construction. No active or noisy construction work will take place during your stay.
