DOMAINE DU CHÂTEAU DE VILLERS – LOFT EN CHAMPAGNE
Set in one of the Château de Villers’ dépendances, in the heart of the Argonne Forest in Champagne, the Loft en Champagne occupies a restored building. Its large terrace overlooks its own spacious wooded garden, offering guests peace and privacy.
The centuries-old château, once home to a branch of the family of Adelbert von Chamisso, the German writer, naturalist and explorer born nearby, is a unique surviving contemporary link to Adelbert and his family in France.
The Loft en Champagne consists of two independent accommodations. The Loft (130 m², up to 11 guests, 26 m² terrace) and Studio-Loft (45 m², 2 adults + 2 children) are interconnected. Each has its own entrance and can be rented separately or together. For additional guests, the Hunting Lodge can also be rented, in part or in full.
Ground floor: entrance hall with table football and bicycle space; stairs to the living floor, also accessible at ground level from the garden terrace.
Main Loft area (48 m², L-shaped): twin beds and balcony, TV/DVD lounge, kitchen with dining island for 8, bedroom with bunk beds (2 guests), shower, double washbasin and separate toilet.
Fox Hunting Lounge (54 m²): balcony-terrace, board games, mini table tennis, twin beds, sofa bed, single bed, second shower room with double washbasin and toilet.
Japanese Room (28 m²): double tatami bed and children’s video/DVD corner.
Private terrace with furniture, sun loungers and barbecue. The estate also offers an orchard, children’s playground with lookout tower, slide and swings, picnic area, table-tennis room and horse boxes.
Wi-Fi, 12 bicycles for all ages and cot are available for an extra fee; high chair on request. Well-behaved pets are welcome for an extra fee. Bed linen and final cleaning are optional, payable on site. Bicycle storage and ample covered parking are available.
