The property is indeed architect designed, the grounds are spacious and the swimming pool pleasant. But the property did not live up to our expectations. The house was in need of redecoration, dirty in parts and crowded and cluttered with the owners belongings, on shelves, in cupboards, drawers and wardrobes. This included owl figures in all shapes and forms - a favourite of the owner. It fellt very strange, as if we had walked into someone else's house. We couldn't understand why the owner had not taken the trouble to clear the house for guests. The cooker was broken and a dangerous d-i-y system had been devised to cover trailing electric wires at the back. The best thing in the house was an american fridge delivering iced water, but it hardly made up for the hot and stuffy feeling inside the house. Outside, there was open access through the patio to the owners' parents connecting property. Their two dogs run in an out into the garden and around the pool. After two days, we had to approach the owner to ask her to keep the dogs in their own property. She was friendly enough and obliging, but it hadn't occured to her that the dogs presence could be intrusive. We were told other guests liked playing with the dogs. We had asked the owner whether she could get hold of an easel and she kindly did, although we didn't find an occasion to use it. Overall, we thought the owner was kind and helpful but the property neglected and vastly overpriced for the quality of the stay. Family from Yorkshire

Toller Ausgangsort für die Provence

Wir waren hier für neun Nächte und es hätten gern mehr sein dürfen. Das Haus war äußerst angenehm zu bewohnen, wobei wir das Wohnzimmer kaum gebraucht haben. Man kann direkt von der gut ausgestatteten Küche (Kühlschrank mit Eiswürfelspender!) auf eine Patio gehen, wo sich unter einem sehr schattigen Baum ein toller Esstisch mit Blick auf den schönen Pool befindet. Das Haus wird von der Vermieterfamilie auch selbst genutzt für Urlaubsaufenthalte und das merkt man, denn es ist liebevoll und funktional ausgestattet. Der Wohnbereich und die drei Schlafzimmer ließen sich bei Temperaturen von tagsüber ca dreißig Grad und nachts um die zwanzig Grad dank Fliegenfenster und absolut ruhiger Umgebung super kühlen, ohne dass wir eine Klimaanlage gebraucht hätten. Das Haus ist spitze gelegen, um in dreißig Minuten am Meer oder in den zauberhaften Alpillen zu sein. Arles selber ist wunderbar und in zehn Minuten zu erreichen. Ein Boulanger ist ca 2 km weg. Ich habe von der supernetten Vermieterin ein rüstiges Fahrrad bekommen, damit war die tägliche Bäckerfahrt ein Genuss. Bei unserem Aufenthalt gab es auf dem Grundstück außerdem fünf Hühner, die man füttern durfte, einen extrem lieben Hund und eine schüchterne Katze. Insofern wohl nichts für Allergiker, aber wir fanden es super.

Des vacances très réussies

Nous avions été séduits par l'architecture méditerranéenne originale de cette maison sur le site et nous n'avons pas été déçus. Nous avons passé une semaine formidable en juillet 2009 avec notre chienne qui a pu s'amuser sans problème avec Pistou et l'adorable petite Cosette. La maison dispose de tout le confort et l'espace de rangement nécessaire, notamment un home cinéma installé le jour où nous sommes arrivés et mis de suite à notre disposition. Il en est de même de la bibliothèque et de la cinémathèque toutes deux bien fournies et laissées à la disposition des locataires, preuve de la confiance accordée par les propriétaires. Certes il n'y a pas la climatisation, mais cela est précisé dans l'annonce, dans un respect écologique sachant que la conception de la maison limite de façon notable la température intérieure. Le grand jardin clôturé (bien pratique avec un chien) arboré d'oliviers est très agréable, de même que la piscine et le spa et surtout la cuisine d'été bien équipée où nous avons réalisé tous nos repas pris sous le superbe mûrier platane idéal aussi pour une bonne sieste à côté de la piscine. La maison est de plus bien située pour visiter toute la région et les propriétaires sont des personnes très agréables et discrètes (à proximité et disponibles si besoin). Une maison de vacances bien agréable , à conseiller fortement.

Bienvenue chez Laurent et Patricia

Notre séjour chez Laurent et Patricia s'est passé sans le moindre problèmes. Patricia et Laurent sont des gens très très sympatiques et ont vraiment le coeur sur la main. Noous avons reçu au cours de notre séjour chez eux des amis et Patricia nous a mis a disposition son studio (qui n'est pas compris dans le prix de location). La cuisine d'été est un espace magnifique car il faut le dire nous n'avons plus jamais retrouver cela ailleurs, cuisiner dehors et vivre dehors fait partie des vacances et chez Patricia et Laurent cela est possible. Nous avons trouver chez Patricia et Laurent une atmosphère très sympa et avons fait la connaissance du papa de Patricia qui nous a fait goûté son huile d'olive..... une délicatesse, j'ai même des amis qui ont fait le détour pour en acheter. Leur chien Pistou est resté dans la mémoire de mes filles et est resté longtemps leur sujet de conversation.Il n'est jamais venu nous déranger sans notre autorisation et nous l'aimions beaucoup. Je remercie Patricia et Laurent pour leur sympatie et leur souhaite beaucoup de succès pour le futur. J'espère à bientôt. Amicalement Véronique, Daniel et les filles

Une maison très confortable et bien située

Nous avons passe 15 jours très agréables dans cette maison en aout 2009 et vraiment, j'ai du mal à croire qu'il s'agit de la location décrite par les locataires déçus (??!). En fait, on se sent là bas comme chez soi, la maison est très bien équipée, joliment arrangée et en très bon état ! Certes, on peut regretter l'absence de la clim, mais la piscine nous raffraichit ainsi que le magnifique murier platane sous lequel on prend ses repas. Toute la famille a apprécie la bibli mise à disposition, notamment les nombreuses Bd. C'est rare dans une location ! Les propriétaires, très discrets , sont aimables et nous ont même donné des produits de leur jardin. On ne peut pas dire qu'ils soient envahissants, on ne les voit presque pas ! Nos enfants ont apprécie la visite de leur 2 chiens, aussi doux qu'obeissants. Enfin, la position de la maison est idéale pour rayonner dans la région : alpilles , Camargue, etc

De très bonnes vacances !

Cette Villa est très agréable, meublée avec goût, et d'entretien facile. Les propriétaires sont charmants et très discrets et nous avons d'ailleurs ensuite gardé avec eux des contacts occasionnels et amicaux par mail. Nous n'avons pas eu besoin d'entretenir la belle piscine et Spa (ceci étant proposé par les propriétaires à notre arrivée, et assuré sans que nous nous en rendions compte). La région nous a également plu, mais le confort et le calme de la Villa nous ont aussi encouragés à simplement y rester et profiter des lieux et de la piscine. La cuisine d'été (extérieure) était très agréable -barbecues-. Notre année a battu aussi des records de chaleur, mais l'absence de climatisation n'a pas été gênante, la maison étant assez fraîche surtout au RdC. Les animaux du propriétaire que nous avons encouragés à nous rendre des visites occasionnelles sont adorables. A l'époque déjà, le Wifi était opérationnel et de bonne qualité. Nous avons tenté ensuite d'y retourner mais elle était occupée la semaine que nous souhaitions. Il y a une âme dans ces lieux, mais certains pourraient préférer les chambres d’hôtels anonymes, c'est un goût personnel...

trop cher pour ce que c'est

ce qu'il faut savoir avant tout et pas du tout préciser par la propriétaire c'estque cest sa maison qu'elle loue donc enormement remplis de ses affaires perso et donc très peu de place pour les locataires.ensuite les propriétaires vont chez leurs parents qui sont sur le terrain donc vous ne pouvez pas profiter des 5000m de jardin tranquillement sans se sentir observer. c'est une maison très chaude et vraiment la clim serait la bienvenue.mais ils ont du mal à faire des travaux chez eux.1 des 2 canapés est tout abimé .pratiquement toute la maison aurait besoin de subir des travaux de rénovations( peinture écaillée à l'interieur comme à l'extérieur, refaire tapisserie des chambres...). il n'y a meme pas de coussins de transat. la bibliothèque est surchargée on n'ose pas prendre un livre de peur qu'elle s'effondre sur vous. et il y a carremment une pièce fermée à clef où on n'a pas le droit de pénetrer.alors quand on paye aussi cher pour 15j on s'attend vraiment à beaucoup plus de confort!!!!
