About this property

Character cottage with all the charm of the countryside

Next to the villages of Anglars St Felix and Rignac, a magnificent country cottage, it is the perfect place to relax

Tranquility and intimacy will punctuate your stay in our little house which offers no vis-à-vis if it is only with nature.

The cottage is in a hamlet of La Fage in the town of Anglars St Felix. It in stones with a lot of character and charm. It is very comfortable and well equipped. Accommodation in a traditional style but with modern facilities.

On the first floor it consists of 2 spacious double bedrooms

On the ground floor it consists of a modern and well designed oak kitchen, the open plan in the living room and very spacious dining room with exposed oak beams. There are two leaf doors opening onto a private terrace with a barbecue and garden furniture.
Also you have a garden with a forest table where you can eat in the shade under your willow or you can lie on the loungers for the most relaxing days.

At your request we can provide a high chair, a travel cot, a playpen, a baby bath and a booster.

All the shops in the village of Rignac are 5 km from the gîte

There is an abundance of activities near the cottage: swimming pool, restaurants, markets, shops, canoeing, mountain biking, horseback riding, hiking, fishing. or at 8kms you could visit the village of Belcastel 'one of the most beautiful villages in France' or the medieval town of Villefranche-de-Rouergue with its rich historical heritage and its very typical Thursday morning market,

And our entire department, with its large natural spaces, the valleys of Aveyron and Lot, Aubrac, the gorges of Tarn, Larzac, the Lévézou plateau and its lakes ... ... its villages of character : BELCASTEL, VILLEFRANCHE DE ROUERGUE, PEYRUSSE LE ROC, RODEZ, NAJAC, CONQUES, SAUVETERRE DE ROUERGUE, BOZOULS, CIRQ LAPOPIE ............. and the essential Millau Viaduct ....... This is a whole program for a successful holiday.

Aveyron is one of the least populated regions of France and we invite you to taste rest and calm, a change of scenery, to perhaps forget the stress of your daily life.

The site was wonderful? But we felt a few ammenities would make it better. Things to start would be great - like dish soaps and shampoos, a few more towels, body soap and laundry soap. Lynne was a great host and helped in many ways - from finding us when we were lost. Thin o help get us to toulouse when the trains were cancelled and so much more. Thé gîte was very convenient for us as we were visiting with family in Aveyron. We highly recommend Lynne’s gite.

Très beau gîte, bien aménagé, très confortable Situé en pleine nature, invitant au calme et à la sérénité, proche du village de Rignac, il permet de rayonner dans la région sans faire trop de route. Pas très éloigné d'Albi, de Millau, de Rocamadour et de très beaux villages médiévaux. À découvrir absolument !!! De plus les propriétaires sont à l'écoute, très discrets mais surtout très sympathiques

Nous avons passé une semaine dans ce gîte idéalement situé, au calme, et à proximité de lieux incontournables: Belcastel, Conques, Peyrusse Le Roc etc. Le gîte est parfaitement entretenu et conforme à la description. perfect place relax, paradise in spring

lovely welcome by charming hosts Gary and Lynne, make you feel at home, with good advise, than leave you in peace to enjoy yourselves. excellent little gîte, very comfortable and perfectly clean. In a secluded spot with direct acces to lovely country side. It is surrouded by trees giving shadow and hiding many birds, the garden opposite the gîte is sunny and full of flowers.Many walks, biketours and roadtrips are available. Rignac at 15 minutes has everything you need, even a Wifi-café. Aveyron is very beautifull but not yet invaded by thousands of tourist. a perfect retreat for peace-lovers. Should you want a fair view and spectacular sunsets, take a walk up hill, or choose the adjoining gite "un petit coin" .

Le paradis à Anglars

Superbe gîte. Propriétaire très accueillante et très discrète. Situation géographique très bien avec beaucoup d'activités aux alentours. Calme et détente assurés, c'est ce que nous recherchions. Literie très bonne, maison très propre, très bien meublée et décorée. Nous avons été reçus avec une bouteille de vin fait maison et nous sommes repartis avec des petits gâteaux faits maison dans notre valise. Que du bonheur !!!!

La paradis à Anglars

Superbe gîte tout confort pour des vacances de rêves. Tranquillité et calme assurés, c'est tout à fait ce que nous cherchions. Maison agréable à vivre, très bel intérieur avec une très jolie décoration. La région est superbe, riche en activités. Gîte très propre, très bonne literie. Lynne est très accueillante, très serviable et très discrète à la fois. Nous avons été reçu avec du vin fait maison et nous sommes repartis avec des gâteaux fait maison dans notre valise. Que du bonheur !!!

Appréciation sur le gite

Très beau gite situé dans la campagne profonde de l'Aveyron avec toutes les commodités. Le calme qui règne dans ce coin de paradis permet de se reposer dans la journée et de bien dormir la nuit. Lynne la propriétaire est très gentille et sait bien recevoir ses visiteurs par de touchantes attentions (gâteaux fait maison,vin de la propriété). Il y a beaucoup de lieux a visiter dans la région comme des vieux villages, des châteaux, des églises, il y a aussi des points de vue magnifiques). Il y a de très bons restaurants comme l'Univers à Villefranche de Rouergue tenu par Quentin et Noémie de Top Chef sur M6. Je recommande ce gite à tous les vacanciers qui souhaitent du bien être, du repos et visiter la région de l'Aveyron.

Des vacances agréables.......

C'est avec beaucoup de plaisir que nous avons apprécié 1 semaine de repos dans ce gîte très agréable. Malgré le mauvais temps tous les jours nous avons pu profiter de la belle région qu'est l' Aveyron pleins de belles choses à voir... Je conseillerai cet endroit, très agréable, très joliment arrangé et très propres pour des vacances en famille ou entre amis pour faire balades, randonnées pédestres ou avec motos ou quads car possibilité de mettre les machines à l'abri dans une grange(pas négligeable). Les propriétaires Lynne et Gary sont charmants : présents et discrets à la fois. Repos et calme assurés.

Un petit coin de paradis !!!

Si vous aimez le calme et les jolis paysages vous passerez de superbes vacances. Le gîte est très confortable (il y a tout l'équipement souhaité), il est dans un état remarquable et impeccablement propre. Les hôtes sont plus que gentils et accueillants (on est vraiment aux petits soins avec eux!!) Nous sommes vraiment tombés amoureux de l'Aveyron !!!
