Beautiful resort, large pools not heated

I would absolutely give a 5 star rating to this resort if they heated the large outdoor pools. We were very disappointed, however, to arrive after a 14 hour drive to find none of the outdoor pools were heated after I had selected this resort specifically for the beautiful pools. It didn’t occur to me to check that they would be heated in the cooler months. We were told that one of the outdoor pools is heated but it was broken.for the first three days of our stay. The indoor pool was heated but we could have stayed home for an indoor pool! Besides the pools, the resort had great activities for our three children and even some fun adult activities. Resort is very clean and well kept. Beach is gorgeous and incredibly clean.

What a nice resort and great week!!

Beautiful resort, with something for everyone from corn hole, shuffleboard, multiple pools and of course-the ocean. Unit was nicely equipped and more than comfortable for the 5 of us. The beach is absolutely beautiful and really wide. Didn't seem crowded at all. Really enjoyed the daily happy hour and musicians at the ocean front pool. Y'alls had great lunch food and drinks, but with teenagers can get real expensive really fast.. Resort staff was terrific, they even brought balloons and a goody basket for my youngest on his birthday. We will definitely be back.

We were thrilled with the spaciousness and quality of our 2 bedroom condo! Plenty of room to accommodate 5 adults. We stayed in Gardenia and had a pool view. We anticipated a ten minute walk to the beach but were surprised to find a cart service that shorten our walk considerably. The Marriott staff was helpful and friendly throughout our stay. We found plenty of amenities on the beautiful grounds to occupy us during evenings and inclimate weather. My only regret about our one week stay is that we could not have stayed even longer! Hilton Head offers so many options for family fun, dining, and exploring!
